It's hard to sincerely express how much I want you to get a break. Hopefully all this will lead to something really good one day.
Henry is in a mood with me. I just picked him up and he went entirely floppy, he practically turned to liquid and just poured in to a puddle back on the floor. Funny!
uck, i just wiped the floors and and i was wearing some rubber gloves that had fallen behind the shelf. apparently they've been lying there quite a while because when i took them off my fingertips were covered in mold. uck uck UCK !
Grooooosss! Rubber gloves already make me feel sick. I hate that they leave that nasty smell and weird powder all over my hands. The rubber glove smell lasts all day too, uuuuugh.
i don´t like them either, but especially in winter my hands are so dry already, i can´t really cope with cleaning stuff.

This morning Gabriel had disposable rubber glove in his hand that he sort of blew up like a balloon and we were talking about an acquaintance we just found out has cancer (not someone we know well) his, Gabriel's, eyes were getting wider as I was explaining to Zachariah that he needed to be very polite and quiet and respectful if he was invited to play at their house because the mom is sick (they requested that we talk to him about it, they like having him over but need things to be calm).
Gabe's eyes kept getting wider and wider and he was twisting the glove in his hand, there was an awkward moment when we were all quiet and then all of the sudden the glove popped really loud.
That is my rubber glove story of the day.
I miss play dates.
My friend who also has four kids, but they are all really young, always calls me and asks if I will come "have a play date with her". It is sort of cute.
"Hi amber, Calling to see if Lily can come have a play date and if Amber can come have a play date too, I need grown up to talk to my brain is mush."
That is cute.
As a child I spent a lot of time at my mum's best friend's house playing with her daughter, who became my best friend. I think a lot of friendships are built this way.

I need more play dates. I suppose me and Lucy are having one on saturday with a lady and her baby from antenatal group. She's pregnant again too, so that's really cool!
Early release today, the kids are home so I have company now.

Booked my domestic flights (LA-SF roundtrip). Extended my MasterCard credit to a grand. Now I just need to pay for car hire and Universal tickets and I'm done with the prep!

It os also very interesting to me to think my coast on my continent is a place others in the world find desirable to get to to visit.

Jesus Christ, I've had withdrawal symptoms. You don't know what it was like! You were all asleep when it started. I've lived ALL DAY LONG without it. Well, and then I got to school.
PA. I got a blue hyacinth for Woman's Day, which is tomorrow, from my classmate. I also said something that could've been interpreted as 'we'll fuck', but it was about words we may use in the game and that if we both use them, they don't count. The verb I used also had that meaning, but I totally didn't think about it.
We're also planning a little pot-smoking session before classes some time in the near future. Not just us two, but our little group of rascals.

It is a beautiful day out. The sky is clear blue and it is warm. It is supposed to be like this all the next week.
I was supposed to walk to city hall to pay my water bill today but I decided to wait until Zach and Lily get home from school and then we are all going to walk together. It is going to be lovely.

I have been thinking about starting a Tumblr for a while.
I am not sure exactly what it is about or how it works, but from the things other people mention it sounds like fun.
I had to edit this because it said "hat hotdogs" and I laughed about it for a good long while.
First of all, I laughed too.
Now I have two questions. Is "tea" a meal time? Like "lunch" or "dinner?" Or did you eat a hotdog with a cup of tea? Because as an unclassy American, my main interaction with tea is in iced form or as a child during which I'd pull out my best, brightly colored plastic set (my fanciest one, the one I'd use if The Queen visited, had princess stickers on it). Of course none of this actually involved any TEA per se, but it's the idea that counts. To me, tea can be a beverage but also an experience and maybe you don't need one to have the other.
So when you say you had hotdogs for tea, it's like hearing someone say they threw on their best tuxedo to go give their muddy hound a hosing off and then ate a hotdog. And I love hotdogs. And hounds.
My second question is, what did you put on the hotdog?
Also, Tumblrs are fun and Amber should get one.

Zachariah had his 5th grade concert this evening. He told me he was doing the puppet show part for one particular song but that was it.
Next song begins, Turns out it is that song Dynamite, all the kids are singing, couple of girls have solos. I am looking around the stage and can't see my boy anywhere. Where is he?
He had refused, refused, to put on a nice shirt for the concert. Went in his grey hoodie.
As I am still trying to find him on stage the song gets to the crescendo part and here come five boys out in hoods and sunglasses. Just getting down. No holds barred dancing.
My boy in the center and the least inhibited of all of them.
This boy is shy!!!!
He is also fucking awesome as hell. I couldn't stop laughing and applauding it made me so happy.
