Pointless Announcements
Bad luck (temporarily) struck my friend and me at the movie theatre. Had to try and buy the tickets from the manager which of course didn't happen because he is Serious About His Job and also an Asshole.
Then a very nice couple came up to us and asked what happened, we told them, and the lady bought the tickets for us. I tried to pay her back and she wouldn't accept it. The guy said if anyone else gave us a hard time to say that they're our guardians.
People really rock.
Django was good, I can't say I was disappointed at all. Granted there was some cheap humor (that wasn't funny at all, really cheap, too cheap for a dumb 15 year old) shot in there but it was ok.
Definitely didn't seem as long as Basterds.
Go see it if you have a chance.

You have posted about quite a few women in the past that it sounds like nothing happened with because of your refusal to confidently pursue because there wasn't enough of an emotional connection or there was too much of an emotional connection.
There is a balance somewhere between being a sleaze ball and being a wimp, and that is what women like when being pursued. And women like being sought just as much as men like to seek them.
You just need to figure out where that balance is and live there. And have some confidence. Not every story is a fairy tale, and not every story is about a predator. Some of them are just about people finding out how to have fun while they figure out who they are and what they want.

Drew's mom gave us a variety case of wine so we all got tore up Christmas night. It was fun.
My dad and his wife will be here tomorrow evening to celebrate the new year with us, so that's cool. I only have today to re-clean/re-stock for the next round of out of town guests. I can do this!

Today has been excessively uneventful.
I think about today and I realise it is one of those plethora of days that will be lost forever in the recesses of memory, for lack of anything worth remembering about it, one of those days lost to my life forever. How one remembers learning to tie their shoes, and remembers the first time they laced up a favorite pair of boots but every shoe tying in between is is filed away in rote information, unnecessary to conscious remembrance to keep in the lime light for survival.
Barring some tragedy, or some beautiful spontaneous victory, between now and bedtime I will forget today forever, and in a way that seems like its own small and tragic victory.
I definitely had one of those days too. So bored. My husband and his friend went to see a screening of Salo, and they invited me to go with them but I really didn't feel like sitting through that type of film tonight. I told myself I would work on some art stuff, but the old ennui crept in and now I don't feel like doing anything.
Today I went to my favorite place (in Massachusetts), a town called Northampton. Cool place with different stores and it reeks of cigarettes (thank god I like the smell) and it's where all of the "hip" twenty somethings hang around.
There is an amazing store called Faces where they sell all kinds of cool crap, if any of you live near Atlanta/Athens, GA it's very much like Junkman's Daughter but long story short I got a lot of cool things for my room. I saw Lincoln with my aunt and that was good too. It was a nice day.

christmas was quite busy this year. my apartment was full of frenchies for the last week. we had a big party for my mum´s 60th birthday, visited christmas markets, had heaps of presents, went to the musical version "the beauty and the beast" , went on a horse carriage ride, had lots of fine drinks and food, some even prepared by myself. i had seventeen people over for lunch, served a four-course-menu and everyone was happy and i was only slightly stressed out. so BIG SUCCESS !
next year we go to paris though, i´m not doing this again.
oh and we got cult mail from sarah and rosie ! THANK YOU <3

In all reality most of the regulars are great people who give their honest advice and opinions. We stick up for eachother and like hearing waht everyone else has to say. Coming in here with random post, some insulting others pointless isnt a good way to say hello.
We come to eachother with problems and I dont think anyone around here wants to be told everything is going ot be okay with out some thing that could back it up.
