No, against black people. Because 90% of the time they don't tip. No matter how fast I get there or how nice I am. Just take the pizza, give me exactly what's one the receipt, and slam the door in my face.
That was me. It didn't take off and become wildly successful as I'd hoped.

Gabriel has been bugging me that I need to watch Death Note for something like six months now, how awesome it is, how much I would like it. To the point that I feel like I know all of the characters and everything, but he has been really careful not to give any spoilers no matter how much he talks about and says I should watch it to me.
Anyway, hour and a half ago or something he pulled up episode one and just said we should watch it.
Yeah.
I'm stuck now.

I've got a question for you Imke. We've been watching an Icelandic sitcom, and a lot of times, they say the person's full name. I've noticed you do that a lot with your boyfriend, rather than just calling him Pal (sorry, I couldn't make the a right with this keyboard). Is that a common Scandinavian thing? Or what? :)

God I was having a nightmare last night and then woke up with really bad cramp in my leg, I think I must've been stretching, and today I can't walk on it properly yet! It hurts a lot. Stupid nightmares.

After you're done, they actually split the whole series into 2 live action feature length movies. The actors are pretty good but due to it being so short compared to the actual series, it has a different ending. (There is actually a 3rd Death Note movie, but it has nothing to do with anything and should be skipped.

Animal Spirits and Shamanism..... what can I say I was a weird kid. I studied the Occult in Jr. High and even read some of Aleister Crowleys works.

I also agree. I would cut her off, at least for a period of time for her to focus her attentions elsewhere. You can't expect to remain friends for an indefinite amount of time with everyone you've banged. Shit gets complicated. Give it some time/

I studied Wicca for a little while in junior high, mostly for a project, but also because I just wanted to know more about it. I think my mom thought I was going to start sacrificing animals or something. But then again, this is the same mother who thought I was a lesbian because I was living with a lesbian couple. She didn't seem to register that there was also a single male living in the house as well, just the lesbians.

Ha, I too had a Wiccan phase at the start of high school. My mum wasn't very happy about it. Alas, I never could find all the ingredients for the spells and when I did I was disappointed with the results (usually love potions!) so I lost interest after about a year. Wish I could find my Tarot cards now.
The best thing about Shamanism is that you basically make up the rituals and spells and use different totems or fetishes that you find laying around. Back then I used to live in Minnesota by the woods so I would take these long spirit walks and just get lost. When on these walks if a particular rock, piece of wood,bone or anything else grabbed my attention or I notices something strange about it. You grab it and it becomes a totem. Because its something personal to you. Throughout all my early 20's moves I lost the whole bag. It sucks. I have a lot of cool things in it like amethyst and crystals too.

I'm making Minestrone from scratch. It'll be on the table in the next 30 minutes and I hope everyone loves it. Giancarlo asked for it specifically, so how could I say no? I even used spinach and tomatoes that we grew. Smells goooooood.

This sounds delicious Alecia, especially since you're using the stuff from your garden. That always seems to make me happier when I'm preparing a meal. I'm not only am making it, but some of it I grew. I was so happy the other night because I made Kale Greens out of our winter garden. They were so good:) I hope you enjoyed the Minestrone, I'm sure it was yummy!

I've made it to episode 20 in Death Note, and things are starting to get... really, weird.
It was pretty good, though I won't say the potato chip part tasted particularly potato chipy. more just salty and more chewy than crunchy. if they could figure out how to make it crunchy it would be awesome.

I am particularly enjoying the way they over explain Every Single Detail. Makes me feel all smart when I see everything coming next.
I just didn't like how many jumps in logic they made in their deductions sometimes. I just enjoyed the "chess" maneuvers in their game to catch each other.
Also, the first episode I watched had this in it. I laughed, but then I was like, 'Uh oh, Japan's gonna weird up my life for awhile.'
