Really, though, I'm happy to save him the expense of having to deal with this later, and he won't be self conscious about his teeth when he's older cause we're handling it now.
I realized how important a sexy smile is to me. The other day, this guy smiled, he had perfect teeth, full lips, and dimples. I nearly died when he smiled. I wanted so bad to ask if he had braces and talk about his teeth but I feel like that's kind of strange...to talk about teeth.
I smirk. Sometimes i smile i guess.
I'm excited, I love courses!
Thanks awesome!!
The working and needs-to-be-narrowed-down title for this year's (yes, there is another one next year as well) Master's Thesis is "Mythical Animals in Medieval English Literature." Like, dragons and shit.
Smirking always gets me but when a guy smiles and it's a beautiful smile, I want to take him home to my mom so we could talk about his pretty smile.
I am a big fan of a nice smile too.
You have to be able to see it in the eyes though, i think it is called a duchenne smile. Some times it is only in the eyes, just barely there.
That shit make me melt.
Did the cult roast thread get deleted? Did something bad happen?
Noooooooooooo
A smile is all in the eyes. A good set of eyes gets me time and time again.
As your attorney, my advise to you is to start drinking heavily(er).-Tuffy
I didn't delete it.
Jazmyns post is the last one made. Nothing else was posted in it after that. (I can still see the thread in my threads area of my profile)
Why was it deleted???
For real, that was some of our best work.
Fear of a lawsuit?

That's what you cock-sucking mother fucks get for being hateful.
I still imagine her sitting at home ranting to her cats.

my friend/roommate is not doing okay and I'm out of my league with this. she's suffered from clinical depression since she was in 8th grade.
I got out of the shower and heard my roommate crying really quietly in bed, like the kind of silent crying that doesn't want to be heard but you can't stop. and I walked in and hugged her and let her cry for a long time and she told me that she's not okay and I needed to take all of her medicines and hide them, so I did. she told me that she's seeing a counselor and a psychiatrist and taking her medicines and she's still not okay and she doesn't know what to do, and she feels really helpless. she has no ability to function or go to class or do anything productive and she wants someone to notice and help and she's starting to feel like the only way somoene will notice is if she kills herself.
and then she cried hard and choked out "I don't want to die". and like, I got kind of emotional and we laid there and I told her I would do whatever I can to help--wake her up for class, sit with her while she studies, make sure she gets things done, give her medication, what I was doing right then by just being there if she needed to cry...whatever she needs. she thanked me and said she would be okay tonight and said she's going to study for a test she has tomorrow. I told her if she couldn't handle being alone she could come get in bed with me tonight, I might already be asleep.
today, her mom texted me and was like "have you spoken to madeleine she told me she's been feeling bad and she hasn't answered any of my phone calls or texts today", and then she didn't answer my text, so I told my professor before class that I needed to go home because madeleine should be answering because she had a test this morning. I rushed home because I was worried. she was asleep. I think she had taken some of her daily medicine early which can make her drowsy. still worrying. the whole asking me to take her medicines things is a big red flag for high risk suicidal behavior and I'm doing everything I can to make sure she's alright but yeah I just needed to talk about it a little.
“if you want to be a bird,” you said once, “with colorful plumage and buoyant trills, you must also be ready for hollow bones."
That's scary and really sucky, but I'm really glad she was able to think about it enough to say to take the meds away. And it's really good taht she has someone who is willing to sacrifice her time to help. You're a wonderful person, Camille, and I really hope she finds a way to beat this.
I hate those "antidepressant" medications that just knock you out and that's how they work. They make it worse i think.
Wait, what meds did she tell you to take away?
Si vis pacem, para bellum
she asked me to hide some of her depression medicine and also all her ibuprofens and acetaminophen and stuff like that.
every couple of months or so she has to rework her prescriptions because something will stop working or not be enough. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be. she's tried many different combos. she's got the medicines for depression, the medicines for the side effects, and then they change when something goes wrong.

i think it's great you're there for her and helping her out.
it might be a good idea to get in touch with her parents / counselor / someone else and let them know about the situation.
thanks. I told her mom about the pill thing. I know madeleine probably wouldn't want me telling her, but if something happened and I didn't tell her about that, I would feel so awful.
she actually just left because she scheduled an urgent appointment with our psychological and counseling services at our health center on campus. I hope she gets some good guidance.

I love that you have such a big heart Cammie. Feels good to know there are people out there like you. I'm not sure I could live in this world if there weren't people like you in it.
Yes... you deserve all the respect in the world, Camille.
This.

Tuffy the Dump Truck may rarely increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke. The risk may be greater if you have heart disease or increased risk for heart disease (for example, due to smoking, family history of heart disease, or conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes), or with longer use. Tuffy should not be taken right before or after heart bypass surgery. Also, Tuffy may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. This effect can occur without warning symptoms at any time while taking Tuffy. Older adults may be at higher risk for this effect. (See also Precautions and Drug Interactions sections.) Stop taking Tuffy and get medical help right away if you notice any of the following rare but serious side effects: bloody or black/tarry stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, chest/jaw/left arm pain, shortness of breath, unusual sweating, weakness on one side of the body, sudden vision changes, slurred speech. Ask your doctor if Tuffy is right for you.
I just slept for fourteen hours straight without waking up. What's even more strange is that this is the first time in about a year that I've been able to sleep without waking up every twenty or so minutes. There's a lot of shit to be done, though. A man cannot just sleep for half a day, and sleeping for the first time in so long felt more like waking up.
Also, it's Autumn. They'll tell me it isn't, that there's an official date for the first day of autumn and that we have not yet reached that date, but they're full of shit. And it isn't the cold nights or the heavy winds or the fallen leaves, or that the scenery fits well enough with its still streets and leaf covered walkways that you could go out to any suburb and shoot a Halloween film; these things speak of autumn, but it's the air that screams it. Sweater weather, motherfucker. Where my hoodies at?
There are three ballerinas in my living room right now.

It's been raining a lot this evening, poured for a while, but now it's calmed down to a slower, steadier drumming on the air conditioner. Someone in the building across the alleyway is playing the violin - quite well, actually. Sitting here listening to the sound of the violin mingling with the sound of the rain is about the most relaxed I've felt in at least a month.
I know everyone said it but Camille you are a great friend. I have been where your friend is and my best friend came and made me feel better where my other friends told me to go take a nap while they played D&D.
There is a big difference when it comes to feeling better when you have that friend to cry to.
On a lighter note I Just had a pretty decent nap and now I am going to draw zombies. Also Xia just got us netflix so its back to Dr. Who.
Also Clue is on netflix.

I bought a 2 pound bag of peanuts cause they were on sale and my buddy was in my room and asked if he could have some. No problem, I've got a ton, but he puts the shells back in the bag while eating them. I can't remember the last time I hated someone so much.

Giselle. In my living room.
Shit's gettin' weird, yo.

Shout Box Alecia. Go back three or four pages.
It's about time for another wedding thread around here.
Cammie, it's it's so good of you to be there for your room mate.
I hope she sees her Doctor and gets her meds readjusted, sadly it can take a couple of weeks for them to kick in. Keep chatting to her and being a good friend.
I've had pretty bad PND and have been seeing a therapist for the last 12 weeks, it's made such a difference seeing her. I saw her today and it was our last session. It was quite sad to say goodbye! It was such a relief to have one hour in a week where I could just be an exhausted and very sad Mum and feel I could talk to someone about it. Things are improving though.
Sorry to hear that Rosie. I can't imagine how tough that must be but I'm glad you're doing better and that you got the help that you needed.
Sarah, you're a tough cookie. I'm happy you went to see someone about it.
I also join in on celebrating Camille.
I am glad that cammie is such a good friend.
And I hope that sarah feels better and am glad she knows it is okay reach out for support.
Cammie, you rule. I wish I'd had you when I was younger and...like that.
Sarah, I already told you things will be better from now on.
I've been really down this week and I think I'll watch the Lord of the Rings series today after I get back from the dentist's. I came across some nice art on the landscapes from the movies and that reminded me just how amazing they were.
Also why the hell did I add a shit ton of books to my to-read list, when I knew well enough I'd get a lot for my birthday and now I wanna read Unfinished Tales and just curl into a ball and do nothing.
Thanks guys.
i really need to do my laundry. i'm running out of clothes.

I just signed up for an English course! It's a course arranged by the university, free of charge, and I'll be learning about academic terminology among other things. It'll be during working hours, but that's no problem, as it is so quiet at work right now.
I'm excited, I love courses!
