Pointless Advice topic
You know, now that I think of it, we had this other stuff that we used in addition to that which was prescribed, and it was called Weleda. It was for serious diaper rash, but we could use it on other areas if needed. I know we could only get it at our Pediatrician's Pharmacy, and I don't know if it's still made or if there's an equivalent, but that might be something you could ask your doctor about or find online.
Sarah, another thing you can try is plain cornstarch. When Haily was a baby she had a terrible diaper rash two different times. It would gett worse and worse. She had broken skin with them also. I used the cornstarch and it kept it dry and help heal it up. The most important thing in these cases are dryness. It's so hard, especially when it's an area that seems to get wet most often. Good luck with Baby Lucy's rash. I hope it clears up soon.
