ahh. I usually make a judgment based on username and way the write. It is a quick jugement, I don't spend days analyzing them or anything, one to three posts really.
Either this or I wait for someone to refer to them as one gender and then wonder about things when someone else refers to them as the other.
I tend to do the same thing, and I did see someone refer to her as a he before I did. But the default setting is male.

I think you'd have to sync your phone, transfer the photo to your computer and post it from there. I don't think you can post straight from the phone. At least, I don't think you can. Unless, of course, you have the photo up somewhere else, like Facebook, or Flikr or whatever and can pop the image URL in the little box.
