Santa Cruz and Monterey are awesome. I should go back some time.

This is why we can't have nice things.
I love Noah's pictures.
You gotta give me consolidation points. I give y'all thousands of pictures with audio in one package. Next week I'm going up in the mountains with the HD cam, here come the art films...

Well, those actually sound nice. I haven't gone on a long hike in a while. I've been wanting to go to hike to Pictured Rock.
The "artichoke" is clearly a sea anemone.
Sea anomoly.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Anemonenenomonemo.
see an enemy
I don't think anyone can say that word, proper.
I don't think I'd ever said it out loud. So I just now tried.
What I ended up saying was, "Enema me."
This word needs better synonyms.
Love your baby pumpkin pic, Rosie.
Thanks folks. Thanks newgirl.
That artichoke is pretty and creepy at the same time. Like sea amen-a-knees.
Sarah's package made my day! Look at all these awesome things:

THE best earrings ever. More Lucy for when my computer isn't on and I still wanna smile. A calendar that made me realise my country sucks and I wanna move to New Zealand because the landscape is the bomb. Multi-functional (I guess) necklace which I love because I love purple.

A HUGE scarf which I'm most grateful for. I don't have any winter ones, just cotton and silk, so this is perfect.
And a bunch of the greatest chocolates out there, something with caramelised nuts I think. I don't know, but they taste like heaven. And a bag that can turn into a little strawberry.
I love that scarf!!!
It's glorious and I bet it'll be put to good use this winter.
I'm in love with that scarf. Irina, you should look up how you can wear big scarfs like that as a skirt. That would look really great over a pair of leggings with boots and then a sweater or vneck long sleeve knit shirt. Just another idea for a way to wear it. It looks great that way anyhow.
Whatever Whore!
Well, that IS a great idea, but I don't wear skirts in winter because my college is not very warm during those months. That, and I don't have a car. I'll just wrap it around my neck a few times and maybe let the ends hang loose, because they're pretty cool, even if my self-shot didn't capture that.
I think I should learn how to be more resistent to the cold. Winter is horrible for me because I really bundle up and then I can't breathe properly when walking.
Layers.
Leggings. Under skirt*. Over skirt. Tank top. Long sleeved shirt. Sweater. Jacket. Scarf. Hat gloves. Boots.
I find that having one or two plain thin material skirts that can go under another thicker skirt works really well. (assuming you were wearing skirts that reached to your knees or a little longer, but then you said you don't wear skirts in winter at all so..) You can shed either layer and still be dressed. Also, I love wool skirts for winter.
We have schizophrenic weather here. So layers are staple dress code.
I wear layers a lot. Camisole, sweater, cardigan, jacket, etc. Last winter we got a few weeks of ridiculously cold weather (under 0F), and I wore a shitload of clothes. Luckily it was during the exam session and the holiday, so I didn't have to go to school every day. But it was awful.
Dance remix of the earlier vid:
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
Wikipedia dixit: "Hokey pokey is also a New Zealand term for Honeycomb toffee." So, I tried THIS?

It tastes heavenly.
I'm going to wear those earrings with a knit black dress for my MA programme opening next week.
Yay! I'm so glad you like them. The colour of them reminded me of your pretty blue birthday dress, and I figured you like purple from that other pretty prom/party dress. Make sure you post a picture when you wear them.

He is a perfect little angle.
I know I say it all the time, Chenoa, but you really have the most adorable boys I've seen.
I love his smile!

Adorable beyond reason.

Haha at that first picture.
my food pics are nothing compared to Pica's, but this was last night's cooking effort:
lamb chops with thyme and garlic accompanied by a warm balsamic beetroot, sesame seed and blue cheese salad ... and a glass of red, natch

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeum!
I would eat all that lambs!
This is why we can't have nice things.
i´m not much for lamb but i´d totally eat those beats. sesame works on pretty much everything for me.
