Yes definitely awesome idea of having a whole week for your Birthday. I now will try to incorporate this into my family. I have the 3 kids, of who Im sure will go for this and me ofcourse. So now we will just have to convince the Husband.

The whole week think is a so we have an excuse to party more and/or because we are lazy and sometimes don't get to the partying right off.
Mostly so random family members can feel free to scragle in late with their wishes and have an excuse, probably.

Also...
That's the only way to do it. My sister's birthday is in July and anytime anyone refuses her anything between June and August she'll respond with...

Because people only vaguely remember that it's in the summer-ish, this works for her. I can only pull it off during spring break.
