Out of Our Comfort Zones
wow. this thread turned from comfort zones being the subject to a conversation about drugs. i feel uncomfortable??
I'm not exactly a druggie, I just do 'em when they're available. My little rule about drugs is "do as much as you want, just don't spend money on it." So I'm a leech, but not really, I hardly ever do anything but smoke pot on rare occasions. I'd like to try acid, though. I'd do X all the time if I wasn't poor. Stay away from coke cos I have an irregular heartbeat, and well, the doctors say I should be avoiding caffeine, so I'm thinking cocaine would not be the smartest thing to take, heh.

time to lose control then,.... at least once.
how can you have a perspective on how to 'manipulate' people if youve never been in that position.
and anything- even if it appears scary or bizzarre, is good for us.
to come out of our shells = growing? maybe. i hope so.
i didnt mean to open such an ugly kettle of fish- by mentioning substance ab/use.
oops.

You learn how drugs affect different people. I mean, how they affect -you- isn't always how they affect others, either, so watching is, in my experience, the ONLY way to figure out just how they work.
I honestly don't give a flying fuck what they feel like, anyway.
They feel good, sir.

yeah true.
but its the old case of-- how can one be qualified to judge- or have a valid opinion- unless theyve had experienced that themselves.
eg. if i was so inclined, i could say to people 'dont use this or that, because , because ive experience , thats all.
think of it as research, credible experiences.
its NOT necessary or important to do, or even vital, it just adds to a) your credibility and knowledge,
gives you a basis for an opinion, well, a credible one, and c) the physical experience.
'if you never ever go, youll never ever know'.
life's pretty straight without vidalia :You_Rock_
But my credibility isn't in taking drugs, it's in having experience dealing with people -on- them. It's two completely different things.
you're a dealer. jesus, man. i wouldn't talk about that here.
run from the man quick
trust no one turn away help
boys in blue arrest you
har har, framstedt.
pot is SO not the same thing as coke or the other illegal drugs. you cannot possibly overdose on it; you can't get physically addicted to it (psychologically is admittedly another matter, but that's true for fucking anything)...
to quote (sloppily) bill hicks: "Marijuana is responsible for killing...? [guy in the audience] no one!! Wow, you people know the truth....but let's put it in a time frame here--EVER."

It does fuck up your mind with prolonged useage, however.
so does alcohol, and it's legal. people are allowed to make their own decisions about that. same with cigarettes. the issue isn't whether or not marijuana is a good thing for everbody, the issue is about whether or not there's any real basis for it being put in the same catergory as things like cocaine and heroin rather than alcohol and cigarettes.

Well, me personally I think it should be illegal because it's not as amusing to watch people stoned as it is drunk.
Wow. Nice of me, eh?
No, in actuality, I agree. I see no difference.
Doesn't stop me hating the stuff with a vengeance, however.
how come? or do you hate alcohol and cigs also?

yeah dude, so does anything.
too much sun- you get cancer
too much fatty foods- you have a heart attack
too much sleeping around- likely to get a disease
so, using that as a base, 'too much of anything will likely kill us' , makes the whole playing field even. it really means, we can do whatever we want. whenver we want. just be aware. everything is equally as dangerous. so, why not live?

as kenny once put it, let us live and stuff.

I made out with three different people in one night.
Although, I guess, that didn't really take me out of comfort zone.

whys that?
life's pretty straight without vidalia :You_Rock_
I suppose it's because the last girlfriend I had was a slut. We used to make out in public a lot. Since I didn't really care for her, it was just a tongue in my mouth. Same with those three.
a million bucks
Consequently, she was there at the time and, being my ex-girlfriend, was insanely jealous.

Not so much hate, but I've never actually smoked anything, and never been drunk. I'll have alcoholic drinks to stop people asking me why I'm not drinking at parties, to make someone more comfortable around me, or (rarely) because I actually feeling like drinking any, but never enough to do much. It's affects are... unpleasant.
i like advil!!! hahahahahaha .. i got a fist full of that shit and i'm not affraid to take it all!!! hahahahahahahaha grrrrrrrrrrr hahahahahahahahaha
no, seriously, i think talking about drugs is so boring... soboring?? so.... boring... anyway, just because everybody talks about it and i am a closeted drug addict... wait.... nevermind... i said nothing.
Alcohol is frustrating. It takes me too long to get drunk.
a million bucks
I am such a pansy. I can get drunk so fast.
I've only ever been drunk twice, but I get tispy off one drink. It's really quite freaking sad.
Now I feel like such a heathen.
No one hold this against me, please.
There is hope, but not for us.
Most guys don't seem to mind a girl who can get drunk easily.
I wonder why that is?
a million bucks
yeah. i mean, dammit, no!! that's bad. be careful jane and wear a chastity belt or something at frat parties!!
i've only been drunk twice too, and i puked up some spaghetti
it was cool, but i got hit by some drunk driver and that was that... since then, i've always thought it was quite fucking stupid.
LOL.
Funny story. Painful, but funny.
There is hope, but not for us.
I mean, not you, Kenny. That wasn't funny. I was thinking about something that happened to me whilst drunk. But don't worry! My college is all-girls. Hence, no frat parties! I am safe!
There is hope, but not for us.
Oh God.
Invite me over, invite me.
a million bucks
Erm. No, you aren't
i need to get laid by alot of college girls all at the same time... that would be a great way to loose my virgo-inity.
Why am I not safe, Rohan?
AC: You want to waste the gas driving from Georgia to Missouri, be my guest.
There is hope, but not for us.
What's virgo-inity? You've never slept with a virgo?
I don't know where either of those places are, Jane.
That has nothing to do with the comment about how I am not safe. Get an atlas or something and answer my damn question.
There is hope, but not for us.

If sex with college females is a waste, then shit...
::cocks handgun, raises to temple::
a million bucks
Well, I suppose it's a waste of sperm.
a million bucks
virgo-inity= kenny needs some booty... college girl booty.
Not so much a waste, as it would be....just a lot of money to spend on gas. Please don't shoot yourself, though, I can't remember how to get bloodstains off the forum.
ROHAN!!! Answer the question, elf-boy!
There is hope, but not for us.
Because college girls are the most dangerous of them all, Jane.
what?! wft....?
There is hope, but not for us.
What?

As far as addiction goes, well, some people are weaker than others. Not to be a dick, but its true.
Sorry if I sound like an asshole to some of you, but those are not only my thoughts, but some cold hard facts. Seriously, if you don't ever want to try them, then don't, cause there is a reason for your unwillingness and if you were to try them, maybe it would hit you different and you'd probably freak out or something. If you do, be sure that you know exactly what you're getting into. Ask me anything, good and bad, about most drugs and I'll be able to give you a solid answer.

I'm definitely agreeing with you here. The main reason I have never tried drugs is that both addiction and depression run on both sides of my family, and I know that if I ever started drugs I'd probably never be able to stop. I don't think this makes me "weak" per se, but I'm aware of this familial addictive streak, and because of it I chose not to partake.
There is hope, but not for us.
