The brewery by me is having a Halloween trivia night and costume contest. I'm spending all day tomorrow sewing my boy a Night's Watch cloak with feathers and fur so he can be Jon Snow. I've got to go shopping to figure out my Arya costume. We're going to the little asian sword store to get a broadsword for him, but I'm probably just going to wear an empty sheathe because I'm not sure they're allow us to bring swords into the bar. There's also a prize for best trivia team name but I can't think of anything. There's also a party that week for all of my friend's trendy work associates. I want to just go to that dressed like nerds because fuck it, then we can play MTG at the party and just pretend we're in character.

The asian store is little. Not the swords.

I have had these black silk leaves and orange paper leaves for a couple years now, every year I try to think of something to do with them but until now couldn't come up with anything I felt like putting effort into.

But then i bought this Halloween paper, and thougt of the Christmas ornaments I am making and, well, these are what i have been spending the past week playing with and making.

I missed zombie walk becuase of the stupid funeral. Yes it was stupid. Xia last minutes decided to be into halloween because she wanted to be red ridding hood and I am going to be the wolf in teh grandma clothes. And I have not carveda single pumpkin.

Hallween is kind of shot this year. And its the thing i look most forward to. Its better than christmas for me and this year it seems like I just missed something. I dunno. I got a few days maybe it will get better.
