Ok, so honestly I haven't read many Chuck books, but this site was recommended to me and I wanted to give it a whirl. I read all the time and don't have many "smart" friends to have good convos with. Um, I'm also totally new at blogs/forums so sorry if I fuck something up; it's bound to happen sooner or later 
. I'm so excited to get to know all of you and hopefully make new friends! Lastly, I was wondering if anyone has read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo? Got great reviews and the media loved it, but I'm not quite sold.... Lemme know. Thanks!

So I want to tell everyone I do know who recommended the site. It was bigshrimpn and he recommended it a while ago, after I quoted Chuck when we first met. I'm his girlfriend. I didn't want to say anything at first, because I didn't want to step on his toes by joining, but I REALLY wanted to be part of you guys for my own reasons. So I hope he gets his points haha. Don't let the buzz surrounding The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (and it's sequels) trick you, it's far from perfect but it's a compelling page turner, can't speak for Fire or Hornet's Nest though.

I didn't suddenly remember. I didn't want to say because I was afraid he would take it the wrong way, like this is HIS site and I'm stepping on his toes. So I was wary to tell him at first, which was actually stupid because he thought it was cool I joined and told me I should tell everyone else, so I did. I would have just been up front, but I wanted to tell him before he read the thread and assumed I was joining for the wrong reasons. I didn't want him to see it as an invasion of his privacy, so to speak. In hindsight, I probably should have had this conversation before I created an account, but it was 8 am and the guy doesn't wake up till 5 or 6 sometimes, so I figured worst case scenario, I could just delete myself if he was that upset. So I'm waving the white flag on that one
