Never Touch Another (wo)Man's _________
I'm wary of people touching my hair. But sometimes if someone really special plays with my curls, it's pretty nice.
Yes, that was yesterday.
for the most part, do not touch.
And Absolutely
DO NOT TOUCH
my great grandma's paintings.
Don't bump them. Don't adjust them if they are crooked. I will do that, thanks. Do Not Fucking try to feel the texture.
You would think I would feel this way about my paintings but I actually don't mind. I prefer if you touch them and get up close to them. And most of my paintings you can turn them to view them at a different perspective. I need to write that on my paintings somewhere...Feel free to touch, turn, and move.
Do not touch my workspace/project/area I'm currently working on. I get really annoyed when something that I was using is moved without me knowing.
Only special people are supposed to touch others hair. Only special people get to touch someones hair.
Caressing the hair is more intimate than kissing.
More intimate than cuddling or touching of the face or fondling of other sorts.
Putting the hands in the hair is an act of passion and love. A child absentmidedly comforts themselves by wrapping their fingers into their parents hair. A lover puts their hands into their beloveds hair during a kiss in an unconscious manor one who does not love their lover will not do unless they think of it.
Hair should only be touched with an invitation. Though that invitation is not always a spoken one.
people just randomly touching other peoples hair are weird and people being weirded out by their hair being touched are justified.

My own work, actually I am not nearly as bothered by it being touched.
Unless it is a charcoal drawing of course, for obvious reasons.
It is the art that has been created by the labor of those I love and given to me that am bothered to see touched. Especially my great-grandmothers, as it is old and delicate and precious to me.
Well then they could possibly be classified as heirlooms I guess.

Exactly. Fucking mixed signals.
Yes. That is what they are. one day I will have more, I am not impatient for that day, however.
And they will pass to my children and theirs and theirs.
Most of my family only want's the paintings they like of hers. I will take whatever anyone else won't as well as what is granted/gifted to me.
When she passed my mom is the one who saved many of her works. the family all picked this and that one that they wanted and were just going to toss or donate to a thrift store the rest and my mom insisted on them either being given to her for safekeeping or put in storage, instead.
If i'm writing something and somebody walks by and reads it out loud or something, i get really self conscious and it ruins it a little bit. Kind of similar...
Ya dont read what I am writing. Dont read what I have writen down on my desk.
And I swear to god if you take something out of my hands that I am holding without asking permission your dead.
As your attorney, my advise to you is to start drinking heavily(er).-Tuffy
Me too, it does spoil it.

About seventyfive percent of the art in my home is original works. By family members going back several generations.
