Naughty Consumerists, You
Well, just a couple more days until the official kick of of Christmas season, (at least here in America, I don't know when other countries decide their "official" kick of to the season is)
Seems like a good time for a topic about all those things you just have to buy.
I bought this snow globe that plays the Nutcracker suite for my grandma, it is a silly little thing but the sort of thing she will like,
*I can't find a picture of it, it has a young ballerina lacing her slippers*
I bought this one for me, because Clara and The Nutcracker

If my grandpa were here still I would have got him this one, because the Rat King,
*can't find that one either*
Well there is a picture of the one I bought.
I bought this for Gabriel, because he should stop growing up so fast,

How about you? what did you buy today?
I'm not even a Mickey Mouse fan, at least in being all gaga about him, but I seem to have acquired three or so mickey mouse shirts.
One of them is red and has Mickey screaming and says "You're Not The Boss of Me!" I call it my fighting shirt. I put it on when it is time to be left alone, as a warning. (not really)

This is why we can't have nice things.
I bought cheap ass headphones today because I forgot one of the three pairs I already have at home.
I bought an eyebrow pencil that might be too dark so I'll use it as an eyeliner.
I bought a pair of black, ribbed tights to wear with my Ralph Lauren courdaroy skirt. It is all different colored squares like, red, orange, olive green, navy blue and a lighter blue. I bought it at the Goodwill for $5 and also a matching solid red courdaroy jacket for $6, which is not Ralph Lauren. I think I'm wearing it on Thanksgiving and will post a pic if I do. It really is a cute outfit for $11
Whatever Whore!
I'd really like a corduroy skirt.
I have one, it's beige and too short, so I'm not wearing it anymore. Might revive it next spring though, due to the unberable lack of skirts in my closet.
I need more pants, I only have three pair, all the rest is skirts and dresses.
I just have a really hard time finding pants that are flattering and are comfortable and I like.
Much easier to find figure flattering skirts that I like.
Yesterday I bought black nail polish, Christmas cards and Christmas wrapping paper!
I have 3 pairs of jeans too. One of them too skinny, but I still wear them from time to time because they really flatter my ass.
It's between a mini and knee length and straight. I like and have been waiting to loose this weight to wear skirts. Because I had gained all of my weight in my middle, I didn't like the way skirts were looking on me. I like the way they look now.
Whatever Whore!
I put on weight in a weird way. I mostly look pregnant, but I've noticed that although I still wear the same size jeans I did when I was 13, my hips and ass are bigger. Not sure if I like that, there are still some items I'd like to be able to wear but I can't.
Hell, this happened even with jeans bought 3 or 4 years ago. Too tight around the hips
Oi, you! Buy things! Consume! Talk about how it makes your hips look in the Girly Stuff thread!
I'm buying a bigass tv this weekend.
But online because idiot shoppers.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I am going to piss my money away on a nice grey dress shirt this weekend.
As your attorney, my advise to you is to start drinking heavily(er).-Tuffy
I bought new tires and an oil cap for my van.
Oi, you! Disneyland Pictures!
I bought lots of things today. I bought a few comics and yeah more comics.
I love buying fountain pens and nail varnish. I keep the latter in the egg compartment of my fridge.
! I have a lot to learn. I had no idea nail varnish was the same thing as nail polish. Why do you keep it in the fridge?
Today I will just be buying groceries.
Seemingly it reduces solvent evaporation (and the gloopyness!).
All this talk about food and fridges reminds me that I forgot to get the mince out of my freezer this morning! No shepherds pie tonight
I bought a pack of cheapo colored pencils, and some guy was hawking $150 pillows for like $20 bucks so I got one of them too
I bought a Movado watch ($900) off a guy on the street for $10 a couple years ago. New in the box with tags.
I didn't so much like the watch as I always wanted to buy a cheap fake watch off a guy on the street.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Oh. Also. Buying a new cellphone this weekend because fuck Blackberry.
Anyone have suggestions?

I'm nabbing a Galaxy 3 when I have an upgrade avaliable.

I bought makeup yesterday, more books today.
I didn't buy anyting cause I'm not a sellout like you guys FIGHT CLUB!
i so want to buy you some khakis now.
We only have Black Friday for online retailers. It's 11 am and almost every website is out of stock.
You know that game that play in Spain where a herd of bulls are unleashed in the streets so the people can run from them? That's Black Friday except the bulls are big fat Americans.
we do not have black friday and i only have a vague idea what it might be.
Huge discounts for electronics, home appliances etc.
The most accurate description I've seen yet.
That's what I told him to get. I also had to explain the difference between Droid and Android.

Man oh man, I just did some serious shopping! Most of it wasn't Christmas shopping though, a lot of it was stuff I needed.
I got a bunch of toys for my nephew, if I could remember what any of them were called I would link them, but I don't remember. I got two pairs of leggings ($5 each!), three bras, some panties, a pair of jeans, two shirts, and three coats... I don't need all three coats, something will go back. I got a shorter P coat from Target in both black and grey and then at Old Navy I found a longer black one that I liked, so I bought it and I'll make up my mind later.
I hope the bras fit, the one I'm currently wearing is stabbing me with underwire.
All in all I've found that Black Friday isn't bad as long as you go after the crazy people have left.

I keep putting stuff in my amazon cart and then deleting everything. I'm so indecisive when it comes to buying gifts for people.
I have no clue what to get Phil for his birthday. I got 7 books for mine, and I have to make up for the mega fail last year, when the help I should've got with the crafting bailed on me when it was too late to find something else.
I've bought Lucy a bunch of new clothes. Some onsies for now, and tops and leggings for in a few months.
They grow up so fast! When was she too big for the booties? I think both pairs were for 0-3 months old.
A couple of months ago. I'll be keeping those forever.
I like the red ones better. That was the pair I first meant to send, and it was sold out before I could place the order, so I picked the pink ones. And then the lady made another strawberry pair and there they were.
I hope I have another girl so I can use them again.
Quit copying me.
I'm almost done with Christmas shopping. I bought my two lil cousins from my mom's side their gifts. I bought one of them a lil hello kitty rolling travel bag, a back pack, some hello kitty school supplies. I bought the other one this cute kitchen pots and pan play set, some cover for her ereader that she wanted, and I bought my other cousin a USC pillow pet.
That's what I told him to get. I also had to explain the difference between Droid and Android.
Yeah and I still don't get it.

This is why we can't have nice things.
BigassTV totally boughtened.

Got some new Circulon frying pans as well as a grill pan for a decent deal. Also picked up an 8gb flash drive for $5 and a PS3 bundle for about $200. The last 2 items were purely a manic impulse buy. And I got in trouble for it...

Those are adorable!
I bought soap.

I bought a Mickey Mouse watch yesterday and an Oswald tshirt and a stuffed Perry that goes "chattachattachatta" when you squeeze his paw.
