I came home one night and a this guy's chillin on my ceiling.
When I saw it was a lizard, I laughed and told him he had to go home. Lizard's I'm cool with. Had it been a cockroach, I would have become a mushroom cloud layin' muthafucka, muthafucka. He wouldn't have made it out alive.
I just poked at him in every direction but the door till he took the hint.

hey guys, just a reminder, most cameras are now equipped with a timer so you don't have to take pictures of yourself in the bathroom. actually, digital cameras have pretty much always come equipped with timers. just an afterthought.
Who's going to set up a tripod to take a picture of themselves?
but many things can double as a makeshift tripod.
My camera doesn't have a timer. 
Point is, it's way easier to stand in front of a mirror than set a timer and find something of appropriate height to set the camera on so as to receive the photo fancied.
I don't much understand why people take pictures of themselves, but a mirror seems an appropriate place to do it. Easy, anyway.

My camera doesn't have a timer either, to be honest. I don't think i've ever encountered a camera with a timer, truth be told.
i genuinely didnt know mine had one either. a lot of searching, and there it was. a shutter delay function. i dont use it, though..

thank you. the house is a never ending struggle to improve, but we're working forward.
the ones i'd gotten rid of mostly were books i wouldnt read again. the hannibal lector series, lord of the rings, a few king short story collection, some old balzac and de sade, decartes, classics of old.. the piles of books gone were ones id never read or reference again. nothing like that anymore. mostly the bag of loose books i have left set for donation is filled with encyclopedias and cliffnotes and philosophy dictionaries, the elements of the past that are mere remnants with current sites like wiki and google.
im still awaiting the email from amazon saying they wont be shipping my omnibus wish. when that happens, i'll hit you up with an offer and a beg
