Or it went down his throat and stuck there and the poor bugger went bat shit struggling for air as it puked blood, which couldn't come out because of the throat blockage, so it just drowned while the other dude tried to pry it out with his beak with no luck and mutilated it's esophagus from the inside... You should've just shot it and spared it the agony, you heartless bastard.
