LitReactor Book Club January 2012: As a Machine and Parts
Did I already post this here? I don't think so.
My new novella, As a Machine and Parts, is the book club pick for January. I'm damn excited about this. As many of you here at The Cult know, LitReactor has its origins with The Cult. That being said, you know they've got great taste, right?
Having my as the January Book Club pick for LitReactor feels a bit like a legacy of sorts, as my novel Stranger Will was the book club pick here back in May 2011.
So, head over to Amazon.com or directly to the Aqueous Books (the publisher) to purchase a copy and get ready for some elitist discussion on the finer points of snobbery.
I hope my copy arrives today. I'm trying to be patient here!
That's magnificent 'Gerbil. How quickly was this site put together though?

LitReactor? It took months. It was in the works for quite a while.
Early summer, right?
I don't know the exact details.
Wastenot is making it sound like LitReactor might not be around tomorrow though. lol
It's going to be around for a long time. It's got a lot of major authors supporting it.

That dude is just a shit stirrer.
I resent that. You take that back.

Mont did it. I saw him!!
Could be.

My copy came in today Caleb. Just in time too because I'm probably finishing The Marriage Plot today (finally). I'm stoked. This looks like a fun, quick read.
I haven't read that one yet, but I assume it will be tough to follow (based on my appreciation of his Middlesex, which is the only Eugenides I've read).
No.
But prove me wrong and I will.

I respect you. And to prove it, I have not gotten personal, and you have.

Right. I don't "know" you yet and my comment about you being a "shit stirrer" was based on a couple of posts you've made that I thought seemed reaction seeking. So I'm sorry if I judged you based just on that. Hopefully I'll get to know you better, and can say nicer things about you and to you. Ok?
Um, ok.
Good. I'm glad I cleared that up with you Damien.

I've said it already but I received the book today. Yayyyyy.
