For cracks? Huh. Never tried it, actually, but I can always find something on Astalavista. Not altavista, astalavista, big difference.

As just a regular search engine, yeah, I use google, too. However, cracks are not-so-legal and I'm not sure, but most generic search engines didn't really list sites that had them, or listed crappy sites that were more porn sites than anything and always a pain in the ass to find cracks with. But astalavista is specifically for cracks, warez, keygens, etc.

Like I said... Lots of programs (like Photoshop, etc.) allow you download a free trial of the program. Well, you find a crack and it's a little program you run that 'unlocks' the trial version, so now you've got the full version - totally free. It's nifty and much quicker and easier than downloading warez. (Warez being full versions of programs/games that you can download for free, they're just apain to get, imo)
