Jennifer Connelly
Not just cos of looks - in ABM, it's different. I think that's the first movie I saw her in that I really really liked her a whole bunch. It's her character in it... Just how she sticks with John, the whole time. I looooooooooove that. Hopeless romantic, and all, heh.......
Oh no, I totally understand that. Hell, I think it's the same way even in Requiem. If she's anything like her characters (except the whole crack whore thing), I'd practically say I was in love.
Yeah, but then I'd have to go and say the same thing about Audrey Tautou in Amelie.. Heh.
Can't say I've seen that. Btw, love the Rejected av's.
Thanks.
Damn!
See it. It's greeeeeeeeeeeat. You know. Fuck. How did I forget? This belongs in another thread! But yeah - see it, I <3 Amelie. And you should too, since you're all wishing you were me and such, haha.
Excellent. One step closer to becoming disx. My dreams are beginning to be reality. Did I mention that I've legally changed my last name to Tarbox? First name I changed to Tyler though, cause that LTD guy was nearly as cool as you.
I swear I'm going to lose it....!!!!
For the love of God, does no one remember her in One Wild Night with Frank Whaley? The kid's electronic horse scene? Roller skating to Betty Boo?????
That's it! I'm topping myself!!!!!!
But before I do...I might have a little wank.

No one remembers. Wank away.
one word. Labrynth.
life's pretty straight without vidalia :You_Rock_
Ass to Ass!
Slice Up and Not Accross
Hahahahaha! I think she looked the hottest in that movie, specialy since she was a coke whore.
Suck me beautiful...
Actually the Frank Whaley flick with Connelly was called "Career Opportunities", not One Wild Night... where they get locked in a K-Mart-type store where Whaley works and she was shoplifting and she falls for the geek...
Personally I fell in love with Connelly in Sergio Leone's "Once Upon A Time In America", where she plays De Niro's childhood love interest... peeping tom scene is great where she is a ballerina... and gotta love the pant'less mirror sequence in Requiem For A Dream... and she is downright haunting in "Waking The Dead" opposite Billy Crudup... although she is just hot in most anything... although me thinks she gets to skinny sometimes, always at awards shows she looks like she's starving and I like her more voluptuous like in "Dark City"...

QUOTE FROM SOME DERANGED HOMEPAGE OF JOHN DOE:
30/9/2K - Illegal Lust
Ever since I saw this pic of the 16 year old Jennifer Connoly in the memorable/shitty 80's movie Labyrinth, I've been obsessed with it. I don't normally find the modern day grown up Jenny very good looking, well ok I'm male.... But his 16 year old Jen, who seems to look a lot younger is very fucking arousing!... ahem Yeah I know: I'm a paedophile.
It's fucking worring me though, she looks twelve or something, and here I am blowing my load over her!
I think I need professional help.
I need to chill out, kick back and connect to what it's really all about!!! Mocking bitches, making friends, talking shit and living it up!
You guys are with me right? Let's keep it real.
it's you that I adore, cause you'll always be my whore
-No comment... Alex

You bring up something interesting, Alex... and yes, that dude is deranged... but I would not hesitate to call anyone of you guys liars if you said you have never looked at a hot girl in high school and thought, man, she is hot... and as most girls I'm talking about in this case are the kind you see hanging around in malls wearing next to nothing to emulate pop stars or whatever, you know exactly what I mean. When it comes down to it, there's a fine line between thinking a young woman is beautiful and thinking she is arousing. Why do you think society is so obsessed with the eternal quest for youth? And by quest for youth I mean only that most women wish they could look like they were in their teens forever... this is especially true of older women, and certainly not true of all women, as there are always exceptions... but I mean... hell... I watched Adrian Lyne's remake of Nabakov's "Lolita" with jeremy irons and whatever that girl's name is, and she was hot in that film and I'm not sure of her age at the time but I don't think she was 18 as there is no nudity... just a thought...

Another good example, Brock...a lot of guys in here who had or have had a girlfriend or -friends must have seen some of her childhood picturebooks...those moments are innocent untill you progress to a time when she's around the age of 15/16 and you can easily picture yourself around that age and then I had a strange feeling with my girlfriend sitting next to me 8 years older...

... and as I hate loose ends... this was the film I was referring to, and her name is Dominique Swain, and it turns out she was 15 years old when they filmed it and had to use a pillow between her and jeremy irons during filming whenever she was on his lap... and believe me, she is quite the nymphette in this one... sucking on bananas and lollipops and parts of it seem downright over-the-top, which Kubrick's version was a little tamer...

Didn't Stanley Kubrick directed that film once, I think it's the one film from Kubrick I must still watch.

That he did. It's almost all innuendo because of all the censorship regulations in 1962. It's still good though, I should probably rewatch it. In the more recent one they used a body double for all the nude scenes, I haven't seen it though.
Yeah, Kubrick's version is pretty good with Peter Sellers stealing the show as Quilty. It's an amazing performance, other than that James mason does well as Humbert Humbert [Jeremy Irons] role and I think her name is sue lyons as the girl. Shelley Winters plays the mom, and overall it's a good flick, with the new one much more sexualized... but then again remember that Adrian Lyne is all about sex thrillers... think 'Fatal Attraction"... "9 1/2 Weeks", etc...

Yeah, she's great in Dark City, too. I mean, I guess I've seen her in a lot before ABM.. but I reeeeeeeally like her in that. More her character, though, I suppose.
And hey at least that guy quoted SP... That's neat.
Also, on the subject of pedophilia, haha... This picture is neato.

Straw Dogs as finally been released over here now on DVD Brock.
You're not xenophobic are you? Shame if you are because what you said about having a life and only coming on here during work time, I totally agree with because I do the same. Some people take this shit way to seriously and let it control their days and nights... I mean, the amount of time it took to write this, I could of been doing some work on my book- and believe me, it needs it.
Don't get me wrong, I like the site in a kind of, 'I'll check to see the state of play with some threads, and find out some more Chuck news', but that's it. Well, that and the fact I've been on the chatroom a few times...and posted a few threads...erm...maybe I should get my self out of this hole I've just dug.

Finally released after what... twenty years or something? Whatever... I was just kidding and for the life of me I don't know what xenophobic is and have lived in Manchester before for a brief time, so Brits are fine by me. I know what you mean about people getting caught up... I almost felt sorry for willtupper this morning when I saw his apology. The apology itself wasn't what made me feel that way, it was the fact that he felt he needed to make a thread to apologize for wronging everyone and how he can't stay away from the board and all the other posts from the past where he talks about "captaining the ship" and "leading the way" and how the pressure is too much for him because he feels like he always has to take the initiative and all that stuff... I mean, it makes me sad that he is so, I don't know... like his existence is dependent on the discussion board, and I don't mean to sound down on the dude, but all these threads about leaving and staying and swearing off posting then returning the next day or the next hour and it really is an addiction I guess. Still... better this than crack I s'pose...
