It's September you slackers, give us your autumn pictures!
I own this.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Noah, I Love all the Guinea Pig noises!!
Whatever Whore!
just out of curiosity: giggan, do you do other things besides chalk and protest about bradley manning? like, I'm not trying to insult you I'm genuinely curious. do you like have any pets or other hobbies? do you crochet?
what are your favorite tv shows?
I seriously know nothing about you other than you have a fro and you hate the shit out of the government.
“if you want to be a bird,” you said once, “with colorful plumage and buoyant trills, you must also be ready for hollow bones."
I think that is it. I can't think of anything about him either.
I imagine at some point he may have read a Chuck Palahniuk book...
My pigs are a bit skittish but they like there scratches and they like to be held.
As your attorney, my advise to you is to start drinking heavily(er).-Tuffy
Hahahaha

The smiley face is healing. The others...not so much. I'll go douse it in betadine.
Your smiley face is obviously hiding some deep inner pain and turmoil. I mean, she says she's fine but clearly she's taking her boyfriend dumping her much harder than she wants anyone to know.
Take that bitch dancing or something.
Giggan posts in movie threads sometimes, I know this much.
And he smokes weed because it's illegal.

Why so serious?

Giggan is the only person from this site that I've ever met and I'll have you know we didn't protest anything.

Here's some birthday related pictures.
Breakfast, prepared by my boyfriend!

A gift from my friend; a handmade jewelry box.

Late dinner:

In the week my parents were here, we went to a museum where we saw this clock:

We went to a really neat and old cemetery last weekend just for fun because we love hanging out in old cemeteries.

A soldier for the confederate army during the Northern War of Aggression.

A tiny Christmas tree propped against a big oak (?) tree.

A baby.

Weirdest thing I've ever seen in a cemetery. This book, like it was left there on purpose on this bench.

It was "The Decline and Fall of Maya Civilization".

It was mildewed. I think it's been there awhile.

Those are great--I also like going to old cemeteries but haven't done it in years. You just gave me something to do.
That's awesome. I imagine it was someone trying to freak other people out with the whole 2012 thing. Trolling in the real life.
Here are some pictures that are OBVIOUSLY not from this month. But first... a picture I did not take at all because all my best pictures were taken with my phone and, sadly, it never made it home intact.
So this is mountain called Monserrate that's right next to downtown Bogota. Climbing it is meant to be a religious experience as there's a church right on the top. This is a picture I did not take of it from the ground.

Now these I (or my family) did take. We took the easy way out by taking the train instead of walking the 2,000 step stairs (random guess). My grandma such a wimp. This picture doesn't quite capture the... verticalness of the trip.

This is the view from the top. You can also take cable cars but they were out of service that day.

The church, surrounded by its devoted tourists.

You can also see the top of the mountain next to us, proving that there is indeed no mountaintop without a giant virgin Mary statue.

Then we went to a mall. There was a soccer match about to start and these are all people gathered to watch Colombia lose to Ecuador.

I don't know where I am but that looks nice.

Super safe road.

Different angle of the same road.

A yellow house.

And one day when I was walking in the jungle, I saw a pissed off sheep. I don't remember being in a horror movie that day but this picture says otherwise.

So that was my summer, minus all the good bits.
Imke, awesome food. I love La vache qui rit
Alecia. That inscription. Damn. I want to see that place.
I love that clock. And the jewelry box.
And the book. And the sheep.
I'm loving the photos this month. Wonderful!
We went to the fair!

Jude's first rollercoaster ride.

And Xander's first ride. He doesn't seem that interested in this picture, but he loved it. He was crying and stopped as soon as it started moving.

Oh, and this happened while I was at the fair. I'm an idiot.

Yes, Chenoa. Make my birthday cuter by letting me see these as some of the first things in the morning. Your boys are adorable.
Those fishes are painted to look like Nemo.
Just checking in to say hello. I figured I'd post in here and share some pictures of what I have been up to the last couple months.
Went to Vegas for my cousin's bachelor party. This was our suite.

Playing the piano in our suite.

Finaly got my kitchen worked on and completed.
Before

YES! STAY!
I think he is gone.
Yessss, Frank's got a kitchen!
That was a nice looking suite you had in Vegas by the way.
Hope you're all doing well. Adios.

I just made these meatballs to go in the stew we're having for dinner tonight. They're cooked before they're put into the pot with the other stuff, of course.

I made stuffed chicken last week, but I baked it before feeding it to my family.Drew used all the toothpicks for martinis, so I had to make do with some wooden skewers that I broke into smaller pieces.

I made a very unhealthy gravy to go on top of the stuffed chicken when I served it, but I didn't take a picture of that.
Today I saw a lady dressed like a storm trooper wearing a pooffy blue tutu that went just past the knees walking down the street with a couple of normally dressed people.
I took a couple of pictures, but cars got in the way.

Teach me how to do that.
Everyone who took pictures with my camera screwed them up. I hope the other ones are sharper, but I have yet to receive them. The light was bad anyway.
Waiting for the tea

Already tired of pictures, thinking "Shit, this is shorter than I remember."

Alecia! Look what I got!

You look beautiful, Irina. That dress is just lovely on you.
Totally totally true.
Much, much too short for my taste. I was wearing tights so it rode up even more than it normally would.
Thanks.
Once again I have to comment on the color of the dress, it looks very nice on you.
More gifts. Atonement is from Chris, Ariel is the book I exchanged 50 Shades of Grey for, so technically from my friends, along with a suede handbag, and the tea and infuser are my gift for myself. Finally found one of those shaped like a house.

Thank you
That room is so you, Alecia. If I could scrap the wallpaper and send it to you, I would.
More from last night
Everybody

The Moroccan Room

Friends waiting for my reaction when I'd see the book, I...hoping for concert tickets

Trying to hide my disappointment

My face says it all

Laughing it off like a pro. Their faces say it all

OMG! Baby! So cute!
aw, lil strawberry shortcake

Yes. I was reading in bed, she jumped up, cuddled against my side as she always does, started licking my hand (her favourite pastime) and when I tried to pull my hand away she did that. With both her front and back paws. Today my brother declawed her, though.
In the meantime, I bought a pack of first aid plasters of different sizes. I'm gonna look ridiculous with that pretty dress and a few of those on my forearm, but at least it won't be red and I won't look suicidal.
