Sounds interesting. I love strawberry margaritas and it's hard for me to step out of that tequila mixer comfort zone.
It was pretty easy, I mashed up the blueberries with a muddler in my cocktail shaker until they were nice and pulpy, then put them through a fine sieve to get rid of the skins and any seeds. I prefer this method to simply blending up the berries, because it gives a more concentrated blueberry flavour, plus the skins can sometimes be a little tough.
Then just mix as you would a normal margarita - tequila, fresh lime juice, a little agave nectar and you're done!
Didn't add any triple sec as we were all out, but you could definitely do that too. If they're a little thick you could add a touch of soda water or water in the blueberry mixture. I chilled my glasses in the freezer and added a few ice cubes as well since it was pretty hot yesterday. Yummy.
I saw those pictures on facebook! Or, I saw the last one, and i thought the cake looked a little fallen and crooked. I did not judge, however, for I am terrible at cake making, no matter my pie skills, anyhow, the second to last picture explains the cake and it no longer looks fallen but quite unique and lovely.
