right, but being pointlessly negative in an anonymous, consequence-free environment like a online message board is not acceptable, nor will it make you feel better about whatever misery you are feeding off of in your real life. it's also just as much a violation of "rule three."

I'm confused, Minuet. What do you want to discuss here? I know you've said it several times already but just say it again once more for me because I'm an idiot. Do you have some kind of theory that there is a specific phenomenon (Not that I never knew that word before LL COOL J's song, but still, whenever I see it or hear it I think "somethin' like a phenomenon..") going on here? Do you have a hypothesis about why this phenomenon (somethin' like a phenomenon...) is taking place?

i started this thread because, and forgive for my sounding silly, people right off the bat were being mean to me.
i wouldnt direct things at anything in particular, just goin' to the polls, and posting hypothetical answers to hypothetical questions, and maybe a few other threads like that.. ..then all of a sudden people would make rude comments to me, poking fun in accusatory ways, not nice ways.
this kept up and i got pissed and they got pissed and we'd bicker to and fro, then it let up, then itd come back, in odd places at odd times about odd shit...pulling far from wide asses..i was a target. didnt know why.
i made this thread to find out why.

I don't want to insult you, because I have no reason to. I've never paid much attention to you so I don't like you or dislike you. From what you're saying here, it sound like several people in varying situations are being difficult with you and saying they don't like you, and in all these situations you can't figure out why. Do you really think that in all those situations, for all those different people, it was just a case of random arbitrary unjustified bullying? You seem to suspect this to be the case. Doesn't that sound a little strange? I mean, you said yourself that these people don't know you and don't have any reason to be bitter towards you. These people aren't mean to everyone. They don't like you and you can't figure out why, so you are blaming them for being petty or bored or just plain cruel and harsh. MAYBE you actually did something that makes people react to you this way. I mean, if so many people are having problems with you, then maybe it's you. I'm not blaming you or anything, I just think you have explored the possibilty that these people are just meanies - and that falls flat because they're not mean to just anyone, and you haven't come up with any proof that they are mean to other people in your situation (not new to the cult, low-ish post count)....so why don't you explore the possibility that you might be hard to get along with?

You complain about all this shit in other people, then turn around and do it yourself. Ever think your assumptions are wrong? You can't tell how people are when they're sitting in front of their computer, so don't try. A good example is that most people are thinking you're mad - yet you say you aren't. It's typing. There isn't a sarcasm font, or a font that says you're at work wasting company time, or a font that says you're just sitting at home, off work for an hour before you're going out and kinda bored and don't want to watch tv.

As for your complaints about people being mean to you other times, it's your own fault for being too sensitive. This is the internet for christ's sake. It's a haven for malcontented sociopath wise-asses. You should know this by now.

In every second post you point out how You have a REAL life, whereas everybody else here, especially those with high-post-counts, live inside their computers. Listen, we all have our lives. Some of em are "worse" than yours, some of em are much "better" than yours accept it.

I don't think anybody here automatically hates a newbie for no reason. We don't play games and pick a new member to pick on. We simply pass judgement on posts and respond to them, hence a fucking message board. You posted, nobody liked them, and we responded.
