Which reminds me. I had seen a lovely pair of (white) shoes this summer and went into the store to inquire if they had them in black. They didn't, they only had them in white and yellow. I said I only wanted black and the middle-aged saleswoman went on a rant that she doesn't understand why we (girls) have such an obsession with black and that we should wear colours etc. I told her gravely (hee) "I'm mourning" and cheered inwardly as she blushed and stammered.
