Every morning, on my walk to the train station, I see a guy who looks eerily similar to Nick Marlo. I call him shorts. He wears shorts from March-November. The same pair of shorts. They are very short. He also wears sandals, whether he is wearing shorts or pants. Unless it is precipitating or frigid. He also wears a large backpack. Finally, he does not move his arms, which remain at his sides at all times. We walk in opposite directions, so I pass him every day and avoid looking at him so as not to laugh at him, partially because of how silly he looks and partially because of his resemblance to Nick.

I would miss matt, but he purposefully ignores me. (and irina)

Good point about matt though, he never responds to anyone anymore. And doesn't seem to be writing anymore, or least not really posting about it on fb that I have noticed if he is writing.

Yeah, I suspect that too. And I know I personally let into him hard about it.

But he had left before that, been gone forever, and then Irina and I ganged up on him of fb one evening and got him to come back but then he was talking about using meth and I told him if he did it again I was going to give him a piece of my mind, he said I probably should and he would appreciate it, then a couple days later he was talking about using again so I kept my word about telling him he was being an idiot.

No. The reason he left was that he's got a girlfriend and moved to various places in Australia, didn't have internet for a few months, and when he did (if he did) he was already spending too much time with her and being fulfilled etc to actually hang around here anymore. Don't you remember he was just recently single last year when he came back?

and matt has that girlfriend and he's consumed in it. irina, didn't you post something on his wall and he deleted it? in fact, the only person he responds to on facebook is his girlfriend.

I dunno, I just honestly hurt by how he treated me because we used to skype all the time and he'd read me stories and I'd tell him about shit that was happening in my life and he'd share stuff with me. you grow to care for a person and then he literally pretends you don't exist? where I come from, that's pretty fucked. (and probably in most places)

Yeah, I asked him how he was and if he'd even been writing anything since winter, and then a few minutes later the post disappeared.

My posts don't disappear but they go unresponded to, so I stopped making them. I wasn't exactly close with him, but not not close either, so it doesn't hurt me, just seems rather rude.
