How old are you people???
no seriously- isnt the origin of the 21+ rule in the US, still a product of prohibition?
cos in Oz, as far as i know, at the time of WW1 and Gallipoli, the young soldiers who were going to Turkey- were angry that they could go and fight at age 18, but no drink legally. So, thats why i think weve been 18+ here for ages.
life's pretty straight without vidalia :You_Rock_
It was only a handful of years ago that military regs changed so that enlisted couldn't drink on base in the States. However, if you're 18 in a country where it's legal to drink at 18, the military has no problem with it. (same thing applies to age of consent laws, with 16 at a minimum, btw)

XChuck, I've noticed that you like to point out your age alot. No offense, but no one cares. I could easily say I am 9 years old and be better than you because I am younger. I was just curious as to why you feel the need to constantly mention your age in every single post.
He said it best.
What question didn't I answer, why "I thought you were Chuck Palahniuk"? You just didn't pick up on the sarcasm. I was mocking you, except you didn't realize it. Get it?

First of all: No your werent. Second of all: Learn to answer questions: HOW OLD ARE YOU REALLY? Third of all(to answer DNT): I don't mention it in every single post, but I mention often when I feel I need to.
...which is pretty much every godamn post
Yes, actually I was.
For all you know, I'm 11 (that's three times I've given my age now, but hopefully it will be enough for you).

Actully you've now said it TWICE. At least in this thread.
Yeah, twice in this thread, and once in the OTHER "How Old Are You" thread.
Jesus Christ, please, just stop trying.

Trying what? And in the other thread you said you were ten. That's mantionaing a different age.
And, by the way, WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU STILL TALKING ABOUT THIS?
well this is intriguing but I will reveal my age now because I am a narcissistic asshole and I enjoy talking about myself:
I am 9 and a half years old but I will be turning 18 on 3/29 now who wants to buy me a bucket of deep fried pork fat and a tub of chicken necks for by BM-Day?....
....mmmmmm fried pork fat Mmmmm...Chicken Necks Mmmmmm....bucket

Being it's quite a common age, I feel better about saying it now.
I'll be 16 in May but if you ask me, I'll just say I'm 16. Just trying it on ahead of time. Fits all right.

21 and to me it doesnt mean a thing. Everyone says "Oh are you happy you turned 21 or they say they wish they were twenty one but to all you younger folk out there it means nothing. No one cares especially me.

Darnit Becks, that's cheating - you had a head start on me!
Two months odd and I'm 21.
Why am I still talking about this? Because you keep being wrong and insisting that *I* am wrong! In the other thread I said I was 10 and three quarters. That was what, three months ago? Yes, that's 13 year old math. TIME FOR FRACTIONS! YOU CAN DO IT!
I said that I gave my age three times, I never said anything about specific numbers you dumb shit! What you should stop? Stop trying to respond to my posts. It's making us all dumber.

Wow. This little thread got CRAZY. People telling me to abuse my girlfriend, people showing an alarming lack of respect for women as a whole, people questioning my masculinity in some kind of bizarre machoistic pissing-contest. Hell, I even got called stuffy.
