Hooray of the Day!
Sharks and bears and ponies, oh my!
This is why we can't have nice things.
YAAAAAAAAY!
Little baby girls are lovely.
I find out what flavour I'm having on March 11th.
Do you guys want a boy or another girl? No offense to anyone with boys here, you all seem to have good ones. It's just that everyone wanted ours to be a girl, including myself. When i do the Sunday school thing, the girls are fun and helpful but the boys give me the most trouble. Plus there's a lot more cool stuff you can buy for girls.
Boys are awesome. I absolutely love having them. So are girls. I didn't feel like my family was complete until I had my girl.
I find it kind of funny that you would be worried that those of us with boys would get offended that you want a girl and are happy you are having one for your family.
I have a fancy new pink flip phone. It has buttons and everything!

I look blazed as hell in the photo and almost failed the test but I got my permit!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good job, Gabby!
Got a new job that I have wanted for years!
As your attorney, my advise to you is to start drinking heavily(er).-Tuffy
Yay Pepper, I hope you get your job. And Hooray for everyone's Hooray! Oh yeah and Big S , so exciting to have a girl!
Whatever Whore!

We'd like another girl. I think Lucy having a little sister would be lovely, and I think with the small age gap they might be quite close too. It would just be easier for us, we have all the girl stuff.
If we have a boy, that's cool too though.
I think I'm having a boy.
Boys are awesome.
I've heard boys are fun.
Girls seem lovely, but they can have a real attitude.
Boys just seem to have heaps of energy.
That they do.
But they are much easier to content.
They are huge burst of energy with interest in all manor of earthy things filled to the brim with curiosity for the world outside of themselves and other people and with simple needs of honest love and affection.
With a boy you get dandelions brought to you over and over and over hidden behind their back with pure joy to present and have them approved of and then every once in a while it turns out it is a worm and laughter and running away instead of flowers.
That sounds nice. My family members are constantly getting knocked up because hispanic catholics. My mom's side especially and they seem almost incapable of making anything other than girls. On that side I have about 15 female cousins and... two male. I myself have a brother but he has a different mom so he doesn't even count in this count.
Boys are novelties and always unexpected. My two male cousins are also like the nicest guys ever. The 15 girls are... a mixed bag.
I was meant to have a daddy's little girl. I felt like i'd just get annoyed with a boy. I wonder how this girl will turn out though, with mine and Haley's sense of humor.
That's great Noah!
I wanted a boy so bad. Joey wanted a girl. And I was quite depressed for well over a year, when I got a girl. But now, I see that Issy has so much personality. I've always thought she was more critter than human. Because her eyes don't look real(they belong on a magical gnome/fairy creature), and she is pure instinct.
And, it is fun dressing her up.
I decided that I'm gonna have only one girl. As soon as I have her, no more kids. It could be anywhere from 0-20 sons before I get her, too.
I have my reasons.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
That's odd.
I got to eat my steak in peace at home and now watching a movie, home alone.
I have my reasons.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I know it is. Still though...
Si vis pacem, para bellum
"I have my reasons" added extra creepiness.
Don't get weird about it, weirdos. I just have a theory on the social dynamics between siblings when it comes to gender.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
YOU're obviously the weirdo!
On-topic:
Hooray, I'm at work!
Hooray, I might receive Habibi today!
My dad only wanted boys. He said he was kind of an asshole to the women he dated so the idea of being a father to someone that will eventually date similar assholes freaked him out.
My sister and I are good daughters though. We don't introduce him to those guys.
That guys with sisters grow up to be better adjusted socially?
Because that's MY theory and you can't have it.
Well that may be! But you won't be laughing when my kids are presidents! All of 'em.

That's going to be crowded.

Pffft, like that's yours. I'm just as much of a Cracked addict as you are, hun.

One's gonna be the oldest president elected, and one's gonna be the youngest. The daughter, obviously.

I DID read that but I already knew most of that stuff. Come on. I have both an older brother and sister too. That's why you and I are practically the same person. Except I'm too fucking manly to karaoke.
That's why we're so well adjusted.
Not manly enough. It takes balls to risk a sucker punch by singing a French song. I knew what I was getting into. It looked like a biker karaoke bar, singing System of a Down and shit. I would've sang some Michael Buble to bring some class, but I decided on Louise Attaque to bring the culture to those ruffians.

I actually would've liked to have an older brother, but oh well! Older sisters are nice too.
I'm glad I'm the eldest. Luckily the difference between me and my sister is 10 years, we don't compete for the same things.

I will confess... I've never been to a karaoke bar. My family decided to do it on Christmas in our living room though. I hate singing and I hated everything about everything anyone and every one was doing in that moment. They insisted I join though. I compromised by doing a wordless rendition of Call Me Maybe using only interpretive dance.
By which I mean a lot of pointing, shrugging, and making my hand look like a phone.
I can picture that so clearly.
Yeah, every Christmas, my family does the same thing. There will always be the boy/girl combo that sings Summer Nights from Grease.

Mine didn't do it until like a year ago. I'm going to have to find a new family. My old one is defective now.
You'll learn to love them.

I know. I don't like complaining about it. I eagerly await the stockholm syndrome to kick in.
I thought you were kind of anti government like Giggan, Isaac?
My hooray is that I had a really good professional development day. I feel inspired and motivated.
Also, I was organised enough to make dinner early and Lucy ate Macaroni Cheese with us like a big girl, instead of the usual baby food jar or cubes of mush from the freezer.
In a lot of ways, but not all the ways. I've never agreed with anarchism... Okay, maybe in my Fite Klub Kid days, but that was way before I met you guys.

New 55" TV in the living room. We're gunna watch Skyfall and Blade Runner and I'm gunna drink 151.
I just got a huge flatscreen - my first - in November. It's pretty fucking sweet. Be better once I find an HDMI cable. Or whateverthehell it's called.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Actually REALLY looking forward to doing some NSOing today. I hope I don't have to go in the middle or something though because that's too much stress and running around for me. But with any luck, penalty bench and lovely sitting down! aaah.
The hdmi cable is pretty important. They aren't exactly hard to find.

I didn't cry today. I didn't even remind my friends what day it was, I didn't talk about it, I only posted a cupcake with a '5' candle on Facebook, but hid the picture from him.
I wore my butterfly earrings for the second time in 4 or 5 years, they're lovely but too 'smart' to wear them every day. Pictures when I get them.
I'm going to bed and tomorrow I finally start the second semester.
I got my new car today.
Good luck, Amii!
Mike, new car pic!
Me too! but an older new to me car
I'm so happy. This is the first car I was able to save up for and buy for myself, in cash!
Few more things to get done before I can drive it though
but feels good to get it out of the way.
