I have an art teacher interview on Monday. I need this so bad. These opening are so rare, only 1 or 2 every few years, in a county.

I lost one of the balls for my eyebrow stud, mind you these balls are tinny. This morning, three days later. I am in bed with Cassie, were having adult time and I feel it inder my knee. Hooray for morning sex and finding small balls in the bed.

A few weeks ago, I lost one of the balls to my earings. A couple days later, I put on a clean pair of socks and felt something in there. I went to shake it out and it was one of the balls. How the hell did that happen?

The magic of those things is graet. But in a sock. That is Amazing.

It was more amazing because it was clean - from out of my drawer!

Still, finding one at all after it's been lost is like a minor miracle.

My teachers recommended me for 13 AP classes.

But we had slept in the bed three times. made the bed three times. And I happened to find it after all that time. I say its magic

What's AP? Advanced... something? Psychology?

Advanced Placement.

At the end of the year (in May or so) when taking an AP course you take a test and if you get a 4 or 5 on it (5 being the highest possible), some colleges will let you use it for college credit in that area.

If you get a 5 in AP English 11 and AP English 12, you probably don't have to take English 101 in college.

Yeah it's great and at my school if you get a 4 or 5 on the exam they give you money! Like a hundred dollars!

We get money, too, if you're the first or second or even third in your class/major/whatever. For instance, last year, my senior year, I got the (we call it) scholarship, it's $110 every month during the school year, but I was the only one in the Translators/Interpreters English major. This year, as a postgrad, they award it based on the entry exam (we don't have just an application) and our MA programme got 5 such scholarships because there were 5 perfect 10s. We grade stuff 1-10 starting secondary school. In elementary, grades are Insufficient (<40%), Sufficient/Pass (50-60%), Good (70-80%) and Very good (90-100%).

That's awesome! Money is always good.

Fuck all y' all snobs. We bought four cases of 2 buck Chuck from Trader Joe's to stock the bar at our wedding and saved a shit ton of money. Plus they have wasabi peas and also this really delightful ginger peach tea. Hooray for there being one five miles away from Drews mom's house.

Yes twice, but only to the East coast. I've been trying to go to California every year since summer 2005, so that's why it's such a big deal for me.

Everything about this day is a hooray, even the fact that we no longer have to write an essay and take an exam instead in one of our classes - the most boring one.
