Did we have a positive version of Buzzkill of the Day? Well, we sure do now!
Some people have been having problems registering online for the Norwegian course, and while everybody else thought people were just either too lazy or too dumb to figure it out, I thought there was something wrong with the website.
HOORAY! Today it has been proven there is something wrong with the website.
I just got approved for a week of vacation later this month!
Even more hooray of the day, the homework I completed this morning wasn't due 'til next week. I'm awesome.

Yesterday I completely nailed this perspective projection drawing I've been working on, and then I hung out with this girl I'm crazy about all night. We played scrabble really high. It was a really nice night.
I chose my new kitten today, I'm going to bring him home on Tuesday hopefully!

My dad picked me up from school because it was cold and raining. Well, technically we met halfway between my uni and his workplace, but it was still good.
EDIT: That means going home in a car and not on the subway and then taking the tram.

We also bought a Bosch juice maker at half-price because a new appliance store was opening in a shopping mall and they had special offers for a lot of items. We'll try it tomorrow, I want apple and quince juice.

Yes they do Imke. It's my best guy friend's brother and his wife. Greg (the brother) used to pretty much live with us when we flatted together. He's the one who made the Goyte music videos.
Lucy was so super awesome and well behaved today, she charmed Greg and Nina when we were at lunch. Oh and as I was pulling apart a broccoli to make her some vege cubes she grabbed the big stalky bit that still had one floret on it and had the best time chewing on it.
We also had leftover chinese for dinner and it was delicious.
A brilliant day! Hooray!

Another hooray: My book (Shogun) arrived today! Too bad I have an 8 hour day at work before I get to touch and investigate it.
About once or twice a year. I've been friends with Rowan for about 12 years now. It's really cool because he's just moved back to Wellington this year (from being in Auckland a nine hour drive away!) and now lives just around the corner from me, so we're going to start going to quiz every wednesday now that Lucy is a bit older.
Oooh, let me know how that book is, there have been so many references to it in movies and stuff I've seen recently I've been thinking of checking it out.

Dinner ended up being a disaster, and I had to throw it away, because I was so caught up in making the snickers cake at the same time.

We got a takeaway on its way. I went for a swim so I don't feel toooo bad.
That guy I loved for 4 and a half years, he's dating someone. I didn't care when I got the news. She's uglier than me, has an evil look, takes drugs, is very bad at medicine (they're both in Med School, 3rd year) and basically really slutty. The hooray part is that all I feel is pity for her, because she's dating him, and disgust for him, for going so low.

IT didn't happen today, but it was last night.
During a conversation with a girl while I was drunk and she was not, I may have insinuated that I'd like to have sex with her and she said she couldn't do that while she had a boyfriend, but she was also in the process of breaking up with him, so she'd keep it in mind. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but that definitely made me feel good. Coz this girl is smoking fucking hot
