Help my alma mater get $50,000 for their art department
Vans is running a custom shoe design contest and my high school is a regional finalist. They are currently 360 votes behind first place, so every vote counts! There is no registration required, just click and click. They are the first school in the far right column, Caddo Magnet High School. Please take a moment to vote!

By the way, this is what they did. The first pair is really damn impressive.

Done.
Click and click.
same. good luck with that.
Thanks for voting guys. The margin keeps getting slightly larger, so I'm prepared for them to lose. I'm thinking of putting together a little package of art supplies for the kid who did the first pair of shoes. He or she is extremely talented and deserves to get something. But then i guess it would be unfair not to include the other three kids... Hmm. Maybe I'll start a donation thing and see what I can do. I can't be as free with my money with my load of medical bills.

From Louisiana, did you say? So am I -so I voted and it looks like this right now:
Caddo Magnet High School (Shreveport, LA) 20.36% (6,283 votes)
vs.
Eastern High School (Louisville, KY) 21.66% (6,682 votes)
I'll vote from the phone and continue to vote online until deadline. Oh and if you start that donation, do let me know and I'll definitely contribute.

If they didn't spend everything for athletics they might be able to save something for arts.

Voted.
Mom's gonna fix it all soon.
You know Ludwig, you sure seem to have opinions on a lot of things about which you seem to know very little. For your information, Caddo Magnet High School has no football, basketball, or baseball team. They have soccer, lacrosse, fencing, and softball, that's it. It is a school focused on academics and the arts and it is the best school in the state.

Done.
I also voted for a school in Tigred Oregon, since it let you vote for ifferent regions.
Today is the last day for voting and the margin is finally getting a bit smaller. Come on people, help me out here!!

Voted again but I have some good news, I think -it continues to let me vote as long as I close out and go back in. It showed "Caddo Magnet High School (Shreveport, LA) 21.78% (7,968 votes)" after I voted five times from 7,963. Number keeps going up -seems to be working -not to mention it seems others figured this out 'cause the number jumped now to (7,975 votes)

The worst part is that entries from the school that is winning suck compared to Magnet's, Louisville is just a bigger city and probably its a bigger school.

Okay so it finally stopped me at 7980 but it let me cast at least 8 or 9 votes.

So did they win?
Also, I was able to vote repeatedly as well.
Also, aslo, does anyone else find it a ironic the we were all cheating for school thing.
According to the website, they didn't... which is a damn shame because their shoes were much better.
Oh yeah, I guess if I wasn't being lazy I could have checked the site. I was being so lazy I didn't even try to think of that.
I did like their shoes better too.
What Jessica said. I'm going to put together a donation thing and get some awesome art supplies for the four kids who participated. I think they deserve something.

That is so thoughtful of you Melody. I wish I could afford to contribute right now.

Ps you can vote once per day, there are only three days left. And you can vote once from your computer and once from your phone!
Louisiana schools are extremely poor and this would be an amazing opportunity.
