Hello all. I'm new to this place. I'm actually not even sure if I'm posting this in the right spot...I know the unwritten laws of forums can sometimes be a tad bit tedious.
Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself, as I hope to get more involved in these things...and also meet some interesting people with the same interests as me.
I need an excuse to put off school work...I'm tired of writing papers on gender and kayaking.

i love music, all sorts. i'm into a lot of old stuff...i feel it has more soul..if that makes sense. let's say leadbelly, bob wills and his texas playboys, howlin' wolf, wanda jackson..but i also like that get-down-and-dirty rock and roll stuff..like, hmm, the reverend horton heat.
and movies...i love most, so it's hard to say..although I just saw Gran Torino and it was BEAUTIFULLY GREAT!

I am glad you're pale, because sometimes people give me a hard time about it because I live in the tan crusty capital of the country. yeah, you do have more of an excuse, i was just born this way.

I live in Nebraska now. Florida is...weird. Living there is a completely different experience from visiting, as I'm sure you'd agree. Tampa is a nice city though, I used to spend a lot of time in the Clearwater-ish area.

kramer, for the simple reason that his hair seems to move in the most mysterious ways.
i am neutral on the star wars subject, as i have not seen them all, so i can't make a decision.
i like marge simpson. i don't know why. it's just what came to mind.

Florida seems to be a place where you either a. come to die. b. come to escape from the great north, or c. are born here or came here with your northern parents and can't wait to escape. ugh
