Guten Tag und Dankeschön - Der deutsche Faden
I HAVE TO go there!
What are Christmas dinners like in Germany? Do you have special food traditions for that time of year?
Don't they have the main meal on Christmas Eve? I really like the idea of doing this. We, well, my family, make a fish pie.
Incidentally, I am soooooo making lebkuchen this year!
i love our christmas food and bakery !
gotta work a little now but i`ll be back with recipes later !

No German classes for me. All full. My next options will be Italian, and then Catalan, and then Romanian. I really hope SOMETHING is available.
Hahahaha don't try to learn Romanian unless you wanna curse the day you were born. Although you can speak French...
Haha, well, Romanian is my last choice, but I think it'd be cool to be able to speak to you in Romanian.
You can just say Bună! (Hello!) and La revedere! (Good bye!) and everything's ok.
Rok !

I loved Wings of Desire! Saw it when it first came out, on the big screen.
Wim Wender is so versatile.
I absolutely hate the American version- City of Angels. Ugh! Awful.

*Oh, and Run Lola Run*
Besides my friend in high school, who was a very cool exchange student from Germany.
She was a breath of fresh air to the entire school, so upbeat and sunny. Dressed like cross between Flashdance and Elvis Costello. Elena.
Are you a baker, Pica?
Arte, the french-german bilingual TV channel based in Strasbourg, has an amusing show named Karambolage describing differences between the two countries through daily life :

Glühwein? Well yes, of course, hehe.
