Glee
Anything else you watch is inconsequential, I want to talk about Glee.

It shouldn't be called Glee...it should be called Squee!
I KNOW CUZ IT'S SO HEHEEHAMAZING
the gaga episode was the best episode ever, but... not just because it was a gaga episode. i've never seen such a strong standpoint on gay youth before. it was really powerful. my 3 gay friends and i got a big misty-eyed watching it.

Mike O'Malley is cool. He hosted "Guts" on Nickelodeon.
OK, first of all, i have already made a thread about glee when it won the emmy and I could say HAHAHHAHAHAH I TOLD YOU IT WAS GOOD.
But yes, I love glee. I love it because it's fresh and new and takes a standpoint on a ton of issues, not just the gay youth thing. there are lots of things they address, and it's funny, and i love it.
Although.
I do think the plot can be a bit meh. I think they arch their story lines all wrong. WTF with rachel and her mom meeting and ending their relationship one episode after rachel finds out she's her mom??? PEOPLE. SPIRAL IT OUT MORE. WE WANT DRAMA. and some of the episodes like the madonna one and gaga one, while they are good because of the music, are really forced with why those songs are integrated....Like sue playing madonna on the pa system. and the goth dress thing, i don't know. They're reachin' a bit. They need to get back to the good drama of the first part, with shuster and his wife and rachel and fin. She needs to drop loser vocal adrenalin guy.
But I do love the show overall. I watch it every week. Taylor, get in here and talk about this thread. oh right, she's banned. Fuck that shit.

Since I, as a cultist, must know of Glee, can anyone explain to me in ten words or less what it is?
Gays, cripples and fat girls breaking out in musical numbers.

more or less. also, there's acceptance themes because jocks do it too.

taylor is still banned?
how long is that going on for?
I watch and enjoy Glee. It's nothing like anything else I watch, and I'm laughed at by the vast majority of my friends and family for liking it. I'm not even entirely sure why I like it, considering most of the songs performed aren't anything I'd listen to elsewhere.
There's just something about it. I love Kurt, and Artie, and Emma, and Sue, and Will. I completely agree with Levi, they're not the best at tying things together plot-wise, but some of the characters are just great.
Y'all's fags.
Although.

That's my main complaint about the show. Me and plot are likethis, and it bugs me that it's so under-emphasized in modern TV/movies (not that it ever was on TV, but you know.) I mean, not only did they end that plot arc with Rachel and her mom after one episode, but they ended it IN THE MIDDLE OF THE EPISODE. What!??!
There is hope, but not for us.

GOD I KNOW! and I know there will be more about her, i mean, they're probably saving up for some big thing dramatics right before a big performance, but still. They could be giving us more.
