Girls clubhouse! (Metrosexual boys welcome!)
You girls are not listening to me at all.
Wear sunscreeen!
I do! I said I like the sun, not that I hate living.
Although not every time I go outside... not even close...
How do you do that? my skin would totally freak out.
I only wash my face with cleanser in the evening, in the morning I just do a splash of water and a quick swipe with witch hazel. Overwashing can be as bad for your skin as not washing at all. I used to cleanse day and night but I've found I have less breakouts this way.
I actually stopped washing my face every evening about a week ago. My skin was reacting to it and actually looked nicer without it. This was probably due to hormonal changes though.
When I say "wash" I mean "wipe my face with a wet face cloth".
Amber, do you think smoking could contribute to wrinkles?
Not walking yet. She's crawling, pulling herself up to standing, and cruising (walking around furniture)..Lucy has just worked out how to get down steps too, she's been able to go up for a while. Last week she started sitting up, she was crawling before sitting up. Oh, she likes climbing too.
Amber, do you think smoking could contribute to wrinkles?
Smoking does contribute to wrinkles. Have you seen how the area around my mouth looks?

When I wash my face everyday I noticed my skin would be worse off if I didn't at all. Same with my hair. The only time I breakout is when I get my period or if I'm super stressed. I started trying to use face/moisturizing products past couple years and I have a couple face washes but I hardly ever use them. I use the face wash every other day when I take a shower but that's about it. The only face care product i use everyday is some lip gloss/chapstick because my lips get really chapped with the weather changes.
Oh hey, we're cosmetics twins.
I don't wash my hair every day either. Unless I sweat a lot or jump in a lake or something. Nobody looks good with an ecosystem in their hair.
I need to wash my hair every day.
I break out after wearing foundation, so I've cut it out almost completely from my life. Only wore it a few times in the last half year.
I wash my hair every 2 days, but if I don't have to go out of the house I sometimes stay 4 or 5 days without washing it so it regains its balance or something. I've heard it's good for it.
I have to wash my hair every day or wear a hat. Oily oily oily. Occasionally I can get away with ry shampoo if I wash it late in the day and use it before bed and in the morning. I'm a very oily person.

Have you tried using loose powder? With your skin I don't think you need much concealing.
I try not to use powder too much, and I only wear foundation when I've picked at my blackheads and there are red marks that need covered.
No powder because there are lines on my forehead and around my mouth that trap it inside unless I have absolutely no expression at all, which is impossible.

Yes of course it does.
I can't tackle avoiding the light of day and smoking all at one though!
I hate shaving sometimes because sometimes it leads to breakouts. Sometimes.
Ya'll have inspired me to start moisturizing at night.
I wash my hair every day. It's starting to go lovely and thick again from being preggers.
I only wash my hair about twice a week, but I condition it nearly every day.
If I wash everyday it starts to feel stripped and dry and ucky. And it just frizzes up and lays limp and lank all at the same time. I also use a leave in conditioner or frizz reducer near everyday on my hair too, to make it obey me.

Well if you're picking at your face before putting on foundation could be The reason why you breakout.
I pick at my face whenever! I know I'm not supposed to, but sometimes I'm silly and do it and then I hate my face a whole week.
Yeah, I pick at My face too. Thing is I've learned not to put makeup over it most times because it just makes it worse .
Going to the stylist today to manscape my back.
When I get back, my back will feel like a a rubber seal for a couple days.
A sexy rubber seal though, right?
I overslept this morning and didn't have time to shower. I feel gross. Luckily my hair wasn't as oily as usual so a bit of dry shampoo and it only looks kind of awful.

Yes Jess.
I'm back (hah! back! Get it?) Painful but oh so smooth. She's ends with an aloe or something massage. And she asks, "Still friends?" So that was kind of funny.
Outside I run into a friend's girlfriend. Not really a surprise. She works next door at a little restaurant/cafe. She's developed some acne but is still one of the mst beautiful girls I've ever seen. And that says something.
So what's with the back wax? Will you go swimming and do other topless activities?
pix pls k thnx
I'm bound to do something that require me shirtless. If not, I'll create the situation.

I kinda wish I had a hairy back now just so I would know the joys of having a freshly waxed back.
I put my hair up the other day. A twisted, whimsical mess. I love how the colors are fading.

Pretty. Your hair has a lovely healthy shine
I liiike! I wish I could braid my own hair.
Thank you ladies
I feel like my hair is healthier too. I stopped using the conditioner I bought which my friend told me that if my shampoo or conditioner had alcohol in it would strip my hair of the color quicker. I think that's why my ends were drying out. But yeah my hair feels a lot better since then.
so pretty and shiny, jaz!
*runs off to see if there´s alcohol in my shampoo*
Me too! Otherwise my ends look like rat tails. And I can't brush my hair when it's dry so it has to be done.
I only take a maximum of 10 minutes in the shower so it's no big deal anyway.
so jealous of your hair Jaz! beautiful
Jaz, that looks lovely!
Beautiful! Yay, new styles too!
Sure miss braiding hair at slumber parties, back in middle school. And everyone did punk rock make up, because we didn't know what we were doing. The weirder it looked, the better. Ya can't really mess up punk.
These days they have managed to refine punk and mix it with different genres. Progress.
Just like Jaz's hair. Sexy meets punk(cutie)= spunki
Thank you ladies. I think this is by far my favorite hair style that I've had so far. One day I will go all purple.
Every Friday someone brings something yummy to work. It's my turn again tomorrow, and this time I'll be making apple cake, which is supposed to look like this:
![]()
I haven't made it myself before, but I got my mom's recipe, so yay for that. Haha, the fact that I had problems making carrot cake has crushed my baking confidence! Hopefully I'll be able to redeem myself tonight.
you go, girl !
That looks amazing. good luck IMKE! I'm sure it will come out great.
If you get it right, I want the recipe please.
It didn't come out exactly as I had hoped. The crust is usually soft, but mine's crunchy (not burnt though). Other than that it smells and looks good. I didn't get to taste it yet (because I don't want to serve a cake with a piece missing), but I really hope it's okay...
I'm nervous!
UPDATE
The cake was really yummy, everybody loved it and had several pieces of it! Now I really need to stop being so insecure.
Yay! Did you take a picture of it?

Fuck that. I'm not orange enough.
