Girls clubhouse! (Metrosexual boys welcome!)
I agree with everything Alecia said Pepper. You are one sexy lady. And on warning my husband of the haircut......NEVER. Every time I've done the pixie, I don't tell anyone. And he knows I'm apt to do those type of things at any time, since while in hair school, my color and cut changed quite often. But I've had my hair long for 11 years now, so I'm due something new and drastic, but being 42, I feel like I can only wear my hair long for not so many more years. Is that just me, or do you guys agree? I just don't know if at 50, I will be able to pull off the long hair anymore. I mean I don't guess there really is a age limit on long hair, maybe that's just me.
Whatever Whore!
My mom is 56 now and her hair almost reaches her waist. She wears it well. Everybody is different though. She has never changed it much at all, it has always just been long and thick and she preens over it like a teenager still.
Awww that is sweet. I flip, toss and stroke mine also like some little girl. I don't know if I look so cute doing that, now that I think about it. It's just something you can't help when you have long hair I think? Do you you mess with yours Pepper?
Whatever Whore!
I'm not sure if I do. I hadn't thought about it. I tend to pay more attention to others body language than my own.
It is only getting longish again now. It is shorter in the back than in the front too, because of the cut I had.
I keep thinking about cutting mine off.
This is why we can't have nice things.
What a rotten thing to think about.
Tuffy, if you go for the chop, I think you should get this:

lets all get haircuts!
actually mine just needs a color, but whatev, chop it off.. i always had short hair when I was younger, this is about the longest my hair has ever been.
also that pinup girl chick looks really familiar, but perhaps I've just seen her on a blog or something
I know someone who's gonna chop his hair much shorter, too. Then I'll be the one with the longer hair, hooray!
I'm pretty sure I want my hair longer now.
I never wanna cut it again. I never had it waist-long and I want it so badly. Longest was down to my navel.
I am with you Alecia - the long hair stays. Even if I have to wear it in a bun when I'm old.
I love older women who wear their hair long. It's a prejudice of mine against short-haired older women, and I won't say what I think, but really, long hair forever.

I doubt I could pull that off.
How does one get that haircut, walk into a salon and say, "Good day, madame, can you give me a Floppy Cad?"
This is why we can't have nice things.
you should do that and see how it turns out
I made my hair appointment for purple hair next Tuesday! eeeekkk!!!
Cool, purple hair would have been my goal if I had moved to England. No mum to judge me.
Oh Jaz! I can't wait:) its going to look great! What shade of purple? Lavender end or the dark purple end?
Whatever Whore!
yesss, post pics when you get it! I'm thinking about going a dark red... maybe.
what do y'all think of these boots? I want a pair of flat black knee high boots, wasn't really looking for suede but I love the detailing on these:
also which dress do you like better?
or
YES on the boots. 2nd dress.
I know these things.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Second dress. And the boots are nice.
What does the second dress look like from the front? I think I prefer that one as well. I like the top part of the first dress as well, but not as much in combination with the bottom part.
I like the second dress, but it would be nice to see the front too.
I was really looking forward to going blond again, but I'm not going to dye my hair while I'm preggers. I know people do and it's fine, but it will just make me worry.
Maybe next year.
Boots are a yes and I too like the second dress best. I would also like to see the front of it. And honestly, I do like the first one also. I'm not sure why, but maybe because I like the style of each piece, but I don't know if I would think to put them together, but me likes!
Whatever Whore!
Yeah, no pregnant hair dying.
No shellfish.
No jumping twenty-six busses on a jetcycle either.
This is why we can't have nice things.
The hardest thing of all is no ham.
Second dress, yes for the boots.
These shades and I think I'm gonna throw in dark blue highlights too.
That's a new one on me.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Yeah, what the hell??? No bacon for nine months?!
Kit, I agree with the others - second dress. Boots are good!
Well, if you have any of those meats they have to be fresh and piping hot. I'm just totally avoiding them.
no ham, is it because it's smoked not actually cooked?
boo, the boots are sold out in my size
but here's the front of the second dress, it's pretty simple. that's why i like it
Yeah, it's nice.
if i´d wear i´d be constantly tempted to swirl and make whooshing sounds. i like it plain and simple like that.
Now that I've seen the front I really like that dress. That is exactly the sort of thing I would wear, though I would like it a bit shorter better, maybe just below the knees.
I'm going to be a rebel here, I prefer the first dress. Well, the top part anyway.

I've been able to wear my boots these past two days because it's finally dry and cold and they fit me again. They're really plain - in a good way - and have my favourite heel shape and height(?) and I walk super easily in them.

They're leather on the outside and something that keeps my feet warm on the inside.
How do boots fit you again? Did your feet grow and then shrink?

No, my ankles were a bit thicker for a couple of years and this week I tried them on again and they fit. They were always a bit too tight, which the picture totally shows, but now they're ok.
I'm fairly disappointed with the gowns at the Golden Globes. I hope everyone does better at the Oscars.
From what I've seen of them, I agree. Halle Berry's dress was particularly bad:

I did like these ones though:

In other news:
It would be really helpful if ASOS had a workwear section and user reviews, like Topshop.
I can't believe Halle Berry couldn't see that that dress was bad. My goodness.
I've been loving Kelly Osbourne's transformation, she looks lovely. Megan Fox' dress is nice as well, but I can't stand her, ugh.
I must confess... I have always liked Kelly Osbourne (music career aside).
I've always liked her, but I've found her fashion sense somewhat painful, haha.
Back in The Osbournes days, it certainly was. But so was mine, shudder.
I wonder if she had a boob reduction?
Halle Berry is 46 years old and looks better than most women half her age.
Bad dress or not.
This is why we can't have nice things.
She looks better than me, definitely. Look at those legs!

Truth!
