A damp cool washcloth. Feels good. Takes out puffy and hydrates.

Halloweeny!
Wow.
I can't decided if those are genius or hideous.
Lily keeps saying they are pretty.
I'm not a fan of hidden platforms myself and I definitely wouldn't wear them, but hey, someone might like them.
Lily's pretty cool.
Those are kind of cool. And if you're ever stuck for food you could eat them.
Or if I ever forget to shower I could wear them and smell orange-y all day long.
Those are really cool.
My Batman jumper was like wearing a sack so I will send it back. Oh well. Asos have been good otherwise.
I tested my make-up for the New Year's party and oh my God, I can finally draw the perfect line for the shape of my eyes. Hooray!
I really want this bag but silly H&M only has the hot pink one in every shop I visited. I asked them on Facebook if I could find it anywhere, maybe they'll answer.

cute, I like the bowling bag style. they don't have an online store you can order from?
No, they don't have online shopping for Romania. I decided to go and look anyway, maybe find a mint nail polish or something else.
I bought this cheap nailpolish set in The Netherlands, and I'm very pleased with it. Currrently wearing the pink(?) on the far left.

i love hema. i buy tons of stuff there every time we´re in the netherlands.
Yay! I really like their waterproof mascara, and always buy a couple whenever I have the chance. In Norway they're way too expensive and I don't like the cheaper brands they have.
Found the bag and bought it, along with a lilac nail polish and a dust pink lipstick - my first lipstick ever. It's pretty soft and I'll only use it over lip balm, so I hope I'll be fine.
Lipstick is the best. This is pretty much every lipstick I own:

Those nail polishes are so cute, Imke. I love the mint green one
I got a gel manicure the other day...because I'm sick of the state of my nails, I always break them at work and the cold weather isn't helping. Hopefully it should last about two weeks. They feel pretty strong.
For Christmas my mom gave me one of those cuticle oil/lotion/buffing block sets that the Israelis sell out of kiosks in malls this time of year. I really like it because my nails look like I'm wearing clear nail polish but I'm not. The cuticle oil is really nice, too.
Kit, gel manicures are great and they really do last.
I've only had it done one other time, I think it lasted pretty well but I got a really dark burgundy colour and it got scratched. But that was at my old job, which was harder on my hands than my new job. That said, yesterday I was breaking down a bunch of boxes, peeling off labels and tape and things and my nails remained perfect so yay!
Those lipsticks are beautiful Kit. I wish I could wear red.
Kit is the queen of rocking red lipstick.
I'm a firm believer in the fact that every woman can rock a red lipstick!
You just have to find the right shade. I stay in the cool/blue reds family, I can't wear anything too orangey or brown. On the other hand, my best friend only wears orange-reds.
I've always liked red lipstick, my Mum used to wear it when I was little, I'm sure it has something to do with that. It's just such a classic look to me, and more importantly it really lifts my mood. It's a total cliche, but I feel somehow empowered (and definitely sexier) if I'm wearing red lipstick.

I gave my sister in-law that set for xmas! I actually bought it for myslef but I ran out of time and energy to find something for her so she ended up getting it. I'm kind of bummed about it to be honest, I really really liked that buffer, it was so nice. And they gave me twilight lip gloss and nail polish!

I agree with you on that. Everyone can wear red, BUT whenever I go to a make up counter for help they tell me I can wear any color I want. And that's not true. Every color looks like crap.
Red and plum are my favorites. It would probably make me feel better if I could find a good lipstick.
Unfortunately a lot of salespeople are pretty phony. I'd just hit up a Sephora or Ulta and try out all the red lipsticks you see.
Yeah no kidding. Next time I have hours to kill in a mall with a Sephora, I will. Thank you.

Lovely lipsticks! Whenever I see really red ones I think of you!
And now I want to go lipstick shopping... but I think I need to buy new bras, socks and panties instead. Humph.
My Make-up in the '90's was, foundation, concealer, little blush, black eyeliner on top li dinky, black mascare and red lipstick. Kind of a nod to Marilyn Monroe, only me with the brunette hair. I've thought of trying that look again, but now, 20 years later, I'm not so sure it would be flattering for me. I just want a new make-up look right now. I actually don't like to wear a lot of make-up,and at age 42, I think I want to go with a more natural look, but then again when I see some of these. Rs colors, I want to try some of it on myself. I need a new look with my make-up and hair. When going to hair school and while I was in the theatre, I really kept up to date on my make-up and hair. I've been in a rut in that department as of late. I've thought about chopping off all my hair into a pixie look, like I seem to do maybe every ten years. And now that I've lost 50 pounds, my face is thin enough to carry the pixie look off.
New Year, New Me, I want to make this happen.
Whatever Whore!
I wore foundation today. In 2012 I only wore it twice over the last six months of the year - on my birthday and on NYE.
Go for the pixie, Winnie. It'll look good on you.
Thanks Irina, I'm seriously thinking about it.
Whatever Whore!
Do it!
For me personally, the older I get, the longer my hair gets and the less make up I wear. On the days that I wear any at all, I use moisterizer and then Lancome Dual Finish and skip the concealer and foundation. I used to use Clinique but my skin has changed with age I guess because it doesn't do anything for me anymore. I like Lancome a lot.
If you decide to cut your hair off, make sure you warn your husband first and I don't recommend getting ink the same day without warning.
I chopped all my hair off and got a new tattoo last year without warning when he thought I was just going shopping and maybe get my nails done.
It didn't go over so well.
See, the natural next thought of any male at such a time is:-
"Drastic life changes? Uh oh. I'm being dumped."
We panic easily.
This is why we can't have nice things.
eh. I just needed a makeover and it wasn't the same as he had in mind.
No wonder people equate men and dogs personalities to each other. "Oh No! I think you might leave forever!!! I better act in the most irrational manor possible until you assure me otherwise!!!"

Well... yeah.

Well... yeah.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I remember once I moved my car from the driveway to the front of the house and Max, after watching me out the window, was just as hysterically happy when I got out and came back in the house as if I had been away all day long.
This beautiful creature I found on facebook today, I do not know who she is, but she makes me feel so much better about the current state of my figure. (though some crunches would definitely improve the shape of my waist, still. She is pretty much my size/shape otherwise. So I feel a little better now)

She's hot and I love her eyebrows in the first picture. Being latina you would think that I love painted on eyebrows but for the most part I can't stand it. There are certain girls that look good with the drawn on eyebrows though and I wish I was bold enough to try it out but I feel like I'll look too angry and gangsta.

So now I am following her or something because, hey, self confidence is a good fucking thing. Maybe it will get me to do those sit ups.

Her waist is ridiculous! I'm jealous of her body in a way. I mean I'm happy with my body but damn she got curves! Like Deadman's curve type curves.
Amber, you should always feel good about yourself. You're really a pretty and attractive woman. You've got curves, nice big bazoombas, and beautiful eyes & lips. I'm not hitting on you, but really - you should be hearing this in your real life a lot if you aren't already. You've got a certain quality that not every woman has - you have this permanent come hither look, and your figure is very sexy without looking like you're trying too hard.
I'm embarrassing myself, but you need to hear this OKAY?!? Okay.
haha
Okay.
Thanks Alecia.

Edit: that might be dark circles and not bags, but I'm not sure.
I can see how this would reduce puffiness and swelling, but I dunno if I like the idea of putting freezing spoons under my eyes! Sounds a little, I dunno.. headache inducing? Keeping your eye cream in the fridge is a similar idea.
