Girls clubhouse! (Metrosexual boys welcome!)

This is more nostalgic but I used to love my Hello Kitty colored pencils and the different pencils they would have. I was a pencil, pen, marker fanatic. I was pissed when my dad made me get rid of my drawers full of pencils...I'd probably still be using them today

Wait, the last cat I posted, you're not supposed to have that as a pet, are you? Isn't that a wild cat?
yeah I think that's a Clouded Leopard or an Ocelot or something

I don't usually advocat/e (ho-ho) the Daily Mail but here is a related article:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-490429/A-4ft-leopard-living-room...
first time i saw an ocicat i thought it was a small leopard too.
turns out they're friendly little guys.
Hey, since you're the mad scientist and everything, can you please invent a kitty that never grows? I'm sure the world, and I, in particular, will be extremely grateful.
These cute pictures are melting my virility.
I feel more like I do now than I did before.

It's on my to do list.
My biggest obstacle lies not in the SCIENCE of how to make it happen, but the morality. What becomes of all the full grown cats that need lovin? Will an ugly, hurtful class divide occur among feline-kind?
Also, I'm facing intense opposition personally and professionally from the cat-food makers lobby. Little kitties don't eat as much as big kitties. It's very political.
Did you learn nothing from the Clump & Scoop Wars of Ought Seven?
This is why we can't have nice things.
like i said, uphill battle.
stupid dirty corporate slimeballs. if it weren't for them i could have kittens-that-stay-kittens for all!

I too sprouted a uterus at the sight of this.
To shore-up my gender and inclinations, I will suggest that Hattie start posting more pictures of herself.
This is why we can't have nice things.

Dragocenosti (the title word) = "jewelry".
This is why we can't have nice things.
One down, tens of thousands to go.
Seriously though, I've had a passive interest in learning Russian since reading about Volapuk encoding in William Gibson's Spook Country.
Walk up to any Russian lady, look her soulfully in the eye, and say "precrasni".
This is why we can't have nice things.
You've got it sir. I will report back when I've found and woo'd a Russian lady.

I love this.
I bought some new mary janes from Clarks the other day. They're for work.

I don't know about you guys but I find it really hard to find pretty shoes with arch support. Shoes seem to be getting increasingly wide as well.

My Dad also made me get rid of my drawers full of colouring pencils...And my Disney videos!
It's really silly but I can't throw away cuddly toys. I have lots at my Mum's house. This book has burnt guilt into me.
Aww I love the Velveteen Rabbit! I actually watched the live action/animation movie recently on the telly. It's one of the first books I remember having read/been read to me that I really enjoyed also

This is so my favorite thread of all time.
I feel more like I do now than I did before.
It is so my most successful thread ever as well.

The best thing about dreams is that fleeting moment, when you are between asleep and awake, when you don't know the difference between reality and fantasy, when for just that one moment you feel with your entire soul that the dream is reality, and it really happened.

I love this. Do you know who the artist is?

I love this. Do you know who the artist is?
Please, please know who the artist is.
I want a print.
EDIT AND HUZZAH!! :
FOUND THE ARTIST.

WANTSIES.
I found him on StumbleUpon. I instantly fell in love.

I need to make one of these, it's too cute!

I just found this amazing site for phone charms. I can't go past a stall with Japanese kitsch(especially Doraemon) without acting all little girly.
Unfortunately my current phone doesn't have a piece to attach phone charms
When I get an iPhone (one day) I'm going to go all out of this stuff.
...I know I need to get a life.

I don't know about you guys but I find it really hard to find pretty shoes with arch support. Shoes seem to be getting increasingly wide as well.
I recently bought these from Amazon:

They're by Hush Puppies and the shoe is called the "Burlesque". The arch support in these things are fantastic. They also cover more of your foot than most flats do, which is nice, because I hate the way most flats keep scraping at my "big toe knuckle" as I call it.
For work shoes, I really only ever buy Hush Puppies now. They're reasonably priced at around a hundred bucks or so, and some models have different width sizes as well.
Ah thanks for the heads up, Bek. We get that brand in the UK so I'll check out their site!
And I also know what you mean about shoes that don't cover enough of your foot - unfortunately most cute pumps have this malfunction! The amount of women I see around London that walk like ducks because of it too...(I'm one of them).
Toe cleavage is the worst.
Cute stuff:

Now I have to learn to crochet just so I can make stuff like this:

Looking at these crafty things makes me want to start a craft trade thread... But the issue with that is most people aren't able to just dedicate time or money to crafts they'd be giving away. It's one of those ideas that's only good on paper.
