Girls clubhouse! (Metrosexual boys welcome!)
Those look very comfortable! My size varies with the kind of shoes I buy. I'm a 2.5 (US 4.5) in sandals, heels and pumps, 3 in brogues or ballet flats and 3.5 in sneakers. Weird.
It's a pain in the ass, isn't it? However you must always find shoes in the sale!
Ballet pumps are always made so wide, I can never find a pair to stay on my foot.
Not really, most models don't go in my size, and this is mostly why I hate shoe shopping. Also, I can't wear heels that are too high exactly because my feet are too small. Prom sandals were 9 cms, I think 11 would be the maximum, if I still want to have some support and not walk en pointe.
A us 4.5? Wow, I didn't know they made that. I'm a 9.5 and I swear my foot got smaller. I was a 10 or 11 when I was in middle school.

I've recently bought a lip balm from my neighbourhood supermarket and it's amazing! It's with milk and honey, it doesn't run, it lasts a million hours and is pretty awesome. I think it's the supermarket brand (it's called Care and has the Delhaize logo).
The best lip balm I've ever had are these that I got as a gift in 2004 or so (six or seven in the kit I got). They last forever (I still have them and none of the tins are even close to being empty) and they smell delicious. When I put the balm on at night before I go to sleep, it's still on in the morning and it somehow doesn't get all over my face or pillows. I love this stuff. My favorites are the peach and the red currant.

The tins are very pretty as well! I would like to try the vanilla one.
Those shoes are so you, Hattie!
i´m strangely intrigued but this hairdo.

it is ugly, right ? can´t stop looking at it.
Dude where are other posts? Didn't Barbara ask me to post more pictures of the hairdo? I've noticed some disappeared even from the Creation thread, where I did post something before everything turned into a fight. What's going on?
weird.
CULT MYSTERY !!!
mystery solved, i asked you in the june picture thread.

it is ugly, right ? can´t stop looking at it.
It's very ugly indeed. Well done though.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Looks like she has a bunch of mussels on her head?
My tip for the summer: keep a small spray bottle with fresh water that you can change every day. Spray on face, cleavage and neck, especially now that the temperatures demand it. It helps keep the skin hydrated and it has a cooling effect.
Or go for the more expensive Vichy.
I went shopping today, and besides finding jeans, which was a wonderful feeling, I also bought a new bra. I had a feeling I was wearing the wrong size, as most of them squeezed my boobs too much lately, so I tried a 34B on and it was perfect. It was also cute that it had the detachable straps in a separate little bag.
Congratulations on your natural augmentation! (Wish mine would shrink!)
My shoes still haven't arrived. I got an email saying they had some problems with deliveries nationally and are offering a 15% discount on any other purchases before the end of June. I may investigate further...
In other riveting news, my nails went goth.

... they aren't actually my nails but you know what I mean.
That nail polish is awesome!
Do you get Barry M in Romania?
The nails in the picture look a lot more sparkly than mine. I may do some extra coats.
Yeah, but I use Golden Rose and other cheaper ones, as they usually expire before I finish any of them and it doesn't make sense to pay too much on nail polish anyway. I have a similar one, but it's more like a very dark navy blue. It looks great, though.
Love the bloody red nail polish on girls
I found a grey hair. AHHHHHHHHHHH
just tweeze it and forget about it!
I got my hair done this past friday. I feel like it's maybe a little too light but I'm not freaking out about it really. Will post a pic when I feel like being photographed.
You probably don't want to pluck it, it will just grow back grey and when you pluck them instead of blending in with all the other long hairs, they are now short and growing back and a frizzy like short new hairs and noticeable because of it.
I feel your pain though, I've been getting greys since I was nineteen, they are white actually. And I have so many now I can't hide them unless I dye my hair. More on the left, looking to be a nice white streak eventually, actually, but until I get that awesome full streak of white, I'm going to keep dyeing.
Check out my new etsy shop! I only have a few things up right now, but I will have more up soon!

I love these.

And both of these. I would buy all of them from you if I could.

I can give you a little bit of a discount if I just sell them to you and you send me a check. That way I cut out etsy and paypal fees.

That is really kind of you Melody, if I could justify spending any money on jewelry for myself right now I would take you up on it in a heart beat. Alas, there isn't any even slightly special holiday coming up that I could find a reason to though.
I might in the future with other items.
Okay

Neat! And yeah. I just added the snake ring this afternoon and it all ready has 14 views.

I love the opal and shell pendants. Why is the latter so cheap, Melody? I am interested.
RE: the grey hair - I'm afraid I plucked it.
Man, I would so buy some of those things if I had extra money.
Hattie> You will now get a frizzy short grey hair that'll stand out. Amber warned you! Tsk tsk.
But I'm only 25 and brunette!
RE: the grey hair - I'm afraid I plucked it.
These are all pieces I've had in estate sales previously that didn't sell. I actually upped the prices a bit because there is a wider market on etsy, but the shell cost me pennies, so I'm happy to get $5 for it. I don't have UK shipping on there, but I'd be happy to calculate the shipping cost for you if you give me your info.
Edit: I will actually be putting the opal in a sale this weekend where it will have a chance to go down to $150. I don't know how interested you are, but let me know.
Edit again: I only upped the costume jewelry and not by much, not the fine jewelry.

Thanks Melody, I will make a decision soon!

I've been toying with the idea of buying these pink deck shoes from River Island for a while. They're in the sale and annoyingly no longer online to show you properly, so please make do with the inconspicuous photo I tried to take in my lunch break (lots of shops get angry with customers taking pictures of store items).
Can't make my mind up!
I like them!
..And you're pretty!
Thanks!
Will wait til I get paid (tomorrow) and decide!
I do like those shoes. They suit you. And Imke is right, you look pretty.
definitely cute shoes. cute dress too, hattie
Buy the shoes. They're not something I would wear, but they look perfect on you. I like the dress, too, and the fact that it's cardigan weather over there.
Thanks all!
The white dots on the dress are little swans. I got it from Zara about a year ago and wear it a lot.
And I got the shoes.
I bought a bottle of Sangria to celebrate tonight by myself.
After many weeks of nail-biting and worrying on my part, my dresses for the wedding finally arrived last night. I'm going with the long strapless dress, the other one was huuuge, and looked kinda like a sack, I ordered a 4 and I think I could have worn a zero. (I'm usually a US 6). Will hopefully have some pictures after tomorrow
yay! yeah, post pictures.
Went shopping with my parents today, and I finally found sandals. Which means I'll be able to wear my skirts and dresses all the time.

I also picked a couple of white t-shirts because it's summer and I really lacked looser items.

Too bad my camera sucks, the colours are much prettier.

I hate using nail files too. The sound is horrible.
So I bought some shoes online yesterday- they were in the Office sale for £11.50 and I got the last pair. They are a size 4 and as I am a small size 5 (ocassionally a 4 in slip ons as my feet are really narrow) I hope they fit! Probably won't be able to return them so I will probably give them away if they're no good. Here they are:
