For Chuck Palahniuk Fans in Austin, TX
Hello Im Harleyq0103,
Would love to start up some kind of chuck palahniuk meeting group in Austin, Tx. I would like to start it off just by chatting online first, then we'll see how it goes. I love austin and i love chuck so if you love the same feel free to email me so we can discuss our mutual love.
I go to UT. But I'm not sure I love Chuck books enough to get a thing going outside the internetz.

Your loss, dude.
hey, harley q
moved this to the author section, because it isnt a general discussion-
yeah, there was a meetup in austin already. i didnt get a chance to go because i'm a loser. there are dozens of cultists i would love to meet; not sure i'd wanna meet one i dont "know", though.
welcome to the cult. you should create an introduction thread so you can get to know some of the community and the community can get to know you. you know, to get some of the harassment out of the way

This year's meetup should be in New Orleans! Or perhaps uh....Portland? DC? Anyone? No? No.
i'd do new orleans. it's about a 6 hour drive from here.
PS there's gotta be tons of hipsters willing to start a chuck group in austin. i've seen you guys.
if, when:
it's clear that my wife will always go to new orleans given any at-all chance. we could meet timberly and the child and the boo, which would be very cool. if alex and mike can make it, i'm down like a clown

I'm cool with a once in a long while meetup, but if it's gonna be a meet-once-a-week/month thing, naaaaaaah.

one is usually done once a year or so.

Yeah, I meant this whole "road trip to annual cult gathering" would be nice, but not a local monthly/weekly thing. I guess I have more of a passion for traveling than Chuck books.

I hate to tell you this, but you're 3 years too late.
