I decided a while ago, that when and if they ever do decide to put the show out of it's misery and end it, that they should probably just end it on a plain old ordinary episode. If they tried to do any kind of special finale, it'll just end up being horrible.
I knew the moment they showed that first episode in high definition that they were trying to mask the lack of substance with style.
They even broke one of the unwritten rules of the show where you don't do anything outside of their conceived reality except on a halloween episode. I screamed like a fanboy at my tv and realized nobody cared.
