Facebook is not: a confessional, a shrink's office, a diary, etc.
A friend of a friend had cancer for years and she was fighting it well but the chemo took a toll on her liver and she died of liver failure last week. It was really sad. I've been in this group for her on Facebook for a long time following it. Anyway, the chemo did it, which is REALLY sad.
Yes, I'm constantly worried about the effects it is having on his kidneys and liver. It's important for him to stay hydrated in order for the chemo to move through those organs.
And I don't have any problem with natural methods, I'd much prefer them most of the time. I don't think it should be an "us vs. them" sort of conflict. I have come to believe that we have evolved into an age of natural and medicinal ways for a reason. He responded again with more "words of wisdom." In one ear and out the other. Xander's not even 2 years old yet. I'm not cutting dairy from his diet because the fat in the milk I give him is beneficial toward his brain's development.
Well there is more. I stopped with that point because I wanted to hear some of your thoughts on it (and because I haven't typed that much in a while and I needed a break). But first I must say that I still hold you and your family highly. We have a deep history with a lot of good times there and all of what I say is said out of love and light. I hope there are no hard feelings from my inability to keep in touch. That being said, I don't blame you or Xander I blame the system that we have all been victims of for far to long. The same rules of statistics that are used to claim chemo as an effective treatment for cancer can be used to show that strengthening your body's natural defense systems by diet and nutrition is more effective with no radiation side effects. These same rules can also be used to link EMF's (like those emitted from TV, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) to, of all things, childhood leukemia. I have yet to speak to you on the subject because I know that all of it has to be incredibly difficult and I felt it was not my place. But we are now in a new age, an age of light, of information and I must share the information I have gained. We are experiencing a paradigm shift. We mustn't point blame or take anything personally for we have all been under the same veil. We have to except the truths that are coming fourth and move forward. We cant fear the change that is coming. We have to be the change if we want to survive. My advice for you (that you may do what you like with) is this: FIRST eliminate dairy (including cheese) and eggs from yours and the kids diet (Xanders being top priority with no leniency) and aim for at least 80% being raw vegetables and some fruit. Its not exacty an easy transition but once you get it just becomes a lifestyle and I can help you with tips if you want. I know you dont eat meat so theres no problem there. SECOND gather all your gaming gadgets and gizmos, your TV, and any other unneeded luxuries and sell them. This being important for step three. THREE invest said earnings on a low rpm vegetable and grass juicer and a high speed blender. FOUR build a new live with your two beautiful boys by playing new games in the kitchen while you all learn make vegetable juices, smoothes, how to sprout seeds and grains, and live happy and healthy. All the while you can continue to go the medical route, although if you begin to nourish the body correctly and protect against harmful environmental stimuli I believe you will find no need. If anything remember this: when a doctor recommends a treatment, based off of what he has been aloud to recommend as treatment by the FDA, you have the choice to postpone or reject said treatment to gather more information or seek alternatives no matter how they may try to persuade you otherwise, you have that choice. I wish all the best for Xander, im sad that we have yet to meet I hope when we do he is a beaming light of health.
I sent him a long message in return. The point being that when it's your child, and from the day they were born, you looked into their eyes and knew that you would do anything for them, then sometimes that means putting aside beliefs that you formerly had about medicine and doing what you know has statistics behind it.

That is sad, Stephen.
(and sincerely hope I spelled your name correctly)
Even though my friend had cancer, her fiance kept everyone away, including most of her family. He got all territorial and over protective. As if we had something to do with her getting the disease.
My point is, I watched that movie 50/50 to get more of an idea of what a patient goes through. Still it's unimaginable.
Chenoa I want to punch that ass in the face.
That was all so condescending and outright rude in some places.
It isn't a conversation about how to prevent the frequent colds you all keep picking up. Jesus Christ.
I know, right? How the hell does he think that any of that is sage advise? My stepmom decided to join the conversation after I had already taken it to message form, so he just kept right on. Then, his fucking girlfriend stepped in. Never met the girl, but she enraged me.
My stepmom:
Stevie, your wisdom to date is solid, unfortunately, the reality is that Xander's only choice for treatment - because he is a baby - is that terrible poison we know as chemo. Chenoa knows this, and we respect her decision. I know she would appreciate your support as well.
His response:
I know that all of this must be extremely difficult. I get that. I also get that the medical industry is extremely affective at eluding you into thinking this is the only way. But, saying that this is Xander's only option is simply not true. And, because he is a baby poisoning him should be the absolute last resort. Of all families I thought yours would understand this. I have not said anything on the subject because it has gotten me a little fired up and I don't want to offend but I cant hold my tongue any longer. This is the age of information and you must know the truth. If you truly care about Xanders health, which I know you do, then I urge you to immediately start him on a mostly raw vegan diet with lots of vegetable juices, wheatgrass, etc. the most nutrient dense available. Dairy and cheese simply feed the disease. when natural health is compromised the disease takes over and what you crave is what the disease craves to grow and spread. This means that in the beginning he may not want these new healthy things but dont give in. It may take a while for the body to rid the toxins already introduced (that is where various detoxing methods come in i.e. coffee enemas) but I believe that as his natural state of health takes the drivers seat again that these are the things he will crave. alternative therapies to research are: Gerson Therapy developed by Dr. Max Gerson around the turn of the century has had numerous successful child cases (Mineko and I watched a documentary on it years ago called the Gerson miracle, available on netflix). If you can research around and find anyone in your area with a Rife machine or a multi wave oscillator and know how to use it that would be your easiest and probably most effective option. The multi wave oscillator had a 90 something percent success rate against cancer in a new york hospital around the 40's or 50's until its inventor Lakhovsky died in a car crash and it became illegal to own one in the US. Dr. Burzynski claims to have a rather effective treatment as well although I dont know much about it. Hell, there was this one guy that claimed to cure his cancer with apricot seeds and then was jailed when he tryed to market it. The options are out there and many are finding them to be more effective than chemo and without all the side effects. The medical industry (which is one-in-the-same with corporate media) do their best to keep it from you because if everyone knew, no one would choose chemo and they would make no money. It's as simple as that. I know this a lot to take in all at once. so all im asking is to think about it and do your own research (watch out for things funded by pharmaceutical companies etc.) and make your own decisions dont the hospital make them for you. I hope the best for all of you especially Xander. Much Love.

Random bitch girlfriend:
its never the only choice. fear is what they bank on. " In America today, you are 64 times more likely to be killed by a doctor than you are by a gun." I respect and support Stevie's choice to speak up for the truth instead of supporting whats "easiest" for the parent. I pray for this innocent child. His body is not an experiment.
Stevie:
Oh, and one other thing. By accepting these fact you may feel guilt, shame, or embarrassment for letting this happen to you son. It's OK. Just remember that this happens to millions of Americans everyday. Your not the only one who has been fooled and dwelling in these thoughts wont get anyone anywhere. You have to move forward. Be strong and Xander and will have a happy, healthy, and long life ahead of him.
My stepmom:
I said "because he's a baby" meaning that time is not his friend. If Chenoa had not had the intuition to get him to the doctor when she did, he would've died. Childhood leukemia kills quickly, sometimes in a matter of days, if not caught. Swift, agressive action HAD to be taken. And clearly, the medical route is working, because he's getting better everyday.
Coming from a good place, but honestly, don't judge a cancer parent until you've walked a mile in their shoes. And trust me, nothing about this is "easy" for Chenoa.
And, if you know Michael then you know he has 30+ years of solid knowledge on all things diet and alternative medicine related. If he trusts that this IS Xander's only option, then that says A LOT.
Knowledge AND experience for himself and his four children!
My response:
Yes. Look at these cancer cures and diets and tell me how many of them are directly related to and have cured childhood leukemia. Cite credible sources and I might look into them. And as far as making him eat things that he may not like and just allowing him to eventually "get used to it." That's BS. You know exactly how picky Jude was when he was a baby. Now take that and give it cancer and tell me that I'd be a kind and loving parent to starve my son until he eats things that I can't even really bring myself to eat other than knowing that it's good for me. You 2 talk as if the answer is in nature, but you're refusing to see the entire picture here. We are a society of growth and evolution for a reason. And Renee, NOBODY chose the chemotherapy route because it's the "easiest" route. Don't ever judge a person until you've been in their shoes. That statement completely disgusts me. Stevie and I were having a conversation. We have a history between us. While I understand that you and he are together, I don't feel that you have any right to join this conversation merely to parrot what he's already been saying.
Brainwashed bitch:
trust me this conversation disgusts me too. Facebook newsfeed is open for discussion. I support him, its my right. Do I have to know a person to care? No. I just read ALOT of contradictions here. Stevie is only trying to help you understand because he truly and deeply cares, but you can't see the forest for all the trees.
Stevie:
This is good, anger is a common and often necessary step in receiving and accepting truth but it is not me you are angry at. This is not about me nor did I ever intend it to be. It is the truth i bring that is important. It is the system you are angry at for it is what caused Xander to be born with and or develop this condition at such an early age. So it is no surprise that the same system was there to come in and 'save his life'. This is the hook. Now you trust them and you will do whatever they say is best and even defend their poison treatments against outside ridicule. That is the design. I know deep down all of you are out of the box thinkers but right know they have you distracted and misinformed. Part of this is looking for credible sources etc. these are details and you have to look at the whole. chemo kills everyday but have ever heard of someone dying from vegetables. Get out of their box! They have you right where they want you. For now he has poisons in his body that without proper nutrition and other methods for his body to rid itself of them they will lead to the same and or other conditions in the future. This leads you back to the hospital for more treatments that lead to more complications and the cycle goes on and on. Each time 'treating' the condition but never getting rid of the source of the problem. Why do you think we have so many hospitals and so many sick people. They have created pharmaceutical customers, return customers that will keep coming back. If Xander is doing well that is great, then there is no better time to make this switch than the present. If your asking if I think you would be a good mother for providing your son with healthy foods and refusing to give him harmful ones then yes. I believe this is what a good mother does. All parents and grandparents used to make us eat our vegetables when we didnt want to. He wont starve. He'll eat when he gets hungry enough and hell a short fast would probably help his body get rid of some of those toxins. What your really saying is you dont want him to hate you for taking what he wants away. well thats downfalls of parenting and he's to young to remember any of it anyway. And, get this, your taste-buds are fully renewed every month or so and adapt to what you are eating. So by starting a new diet now by the time he is old enough to remember he wont even know anything else. The easiest way to make this change is to have support. This means all of you eating the same way. Think about doing it for Xander. So all of you can choose to: A ) Possibly be dissatisfied with your food for a month while you tastes adjust then live happy and healthy ever after or B ) Do what you are used to, eat what you think tastes good, and continue to have random periodic sicknesses and health conditions. We all have free will and you may take any path you like i'm just trying to inform.
I'm done responding. This fucker was pissing me off.

Those guys are fukwads. You don't owe them any explaination.
You and your mom are way beyond dipolmatic. Fuk them and their rhetoric. Sorry about all the cussing. But I'm so angry about that now!!!
My heart goes out to Xander and your family. You are so brave and beautiful Chenoa.
Chenoa, I just read all of this out loud to Drew and he says we've got an extra can of whoop ass in the pantry if you need us to bring it.
In all seriousness, though, that is ridiculous, and I'm appalled that anyone would say those things to you. I'm glad you're not even listening to those fools. AND, I'm glad you've got such a supportive family.
Jesus fucking christ. I'd like your permission to find and beat these two people.
Honestly, do they think doctors are too stupid to say, "Hey, this peer-reviewed experiment actually looks legit, maybe I should look into this whole diet-cures-cancer thing." Or do they think that at some point around the end of med school that they gather all the future doctors and say, "Ok, we're gonna let you guys in on the secret. Actually, all of that schooling was bullshit, but you've spent waaayyy too much money now to say anything, huh! Just go out and make your six or seven figures and keep your fucking mouths shut."

I haven't commented on this whole Curing Cancer With Diet thing because it sickens me beyond belief. I haven't even been able to read the whole of any one of this guy's posts.
I want to punch this moron in the face until his skull pulps.
This is why we can't have nice things.

I kinda wanna internet hassle them. Like when reddit gets revenge on dickwads. But I don't care that much. It just creeps me out how places like this http://www.sacredgroveretreat.com/ seem so innocent, and yet, it's where those two got brainwashed.

Fucking stupid people. You should ignore them from now on, hide your posts from them and wish them a happy blissfully stupid life.
It's kind of amazing. Every time you post anything those people write, you make everyone on this website want to destroy them. It's like that guy has the opposite of a superpower. A violence magnet. I can't believe a human adult would say those things to a person's face. Or, virtual face even.

I love you the most. Sister wife.
And you. I love you the most too love.
I love you too, Amber.

What a fuckhead! I couldn't read all of that "cure cancer with vegan diet" fuck's post. What an arsehole! Ooooh that made me mad.
Young children need protein and dairy. Seriously.
Not that that's the big thing, but that's the point where I had to stop reading because it was pissing me off so bad.
They don't *need* dairy. In the sense of it being necessary to survival. Mothers milk provides all of those nutrients and better, and the same nutrients came be absorbed via dark veggies and fish (for the fatty stuff the brain needs) after nursing has ceased.
But dairy is the easiest and most productive way to get those nutrients into the child, and I'll be damned if I believe any of the nonsense that dairy causes disease or is the root of problems for any kid that does not have a specific identified allergy.
Sorry. I sometimes get a relentless bug up me for correct clarification on things.
Dairy is vital. And a good thing, perhaps not the only method, but it is not an evil and is a good source of otherwise difficult to achieve nutrients.
Well, yeah.
What I really meant was that calcium is vital for young children, and dairy is the easiest way of allowing children to ge that in them.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
I am told I can't be denied stuff when I make that face.
The boys and I are vegetarians, no fish or anything, so that's why I don't cut dairy from their diets. We do drink the other kinds of milk, like almond and soy, occasionally. But organic, hormone-free whole milk is the main one.

Geeeeeez, I hadn't looked at this thread in so long but Chenoa don't let some complete idiot conspiracy theorist upset you at all. If he gets cancer I whole heartedly support him avoiding chemo entirely.
The worst thing is almost the fact that unless he or someone very very very close to him gets cancer, he'll probably never admit he was possibly, maybe, perhaps not right about everything in the world. Anyone who does just didn't follow the directions correctly like he and his girlfriend do. It's so fucking arrogant. And now he's making me a bad person by hoping he gets sick and keeps being sick forever just so he'll quit acting as if he knows the cheat code to living.
I was careful to not say I hoped he would get cancer but still managed to be horrible. I was really proud of that.
Sick of people on Facebook at the moment who try to make everyone feel bad when they do.
I hope he gets cancer.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I need to stop reading Facebook and Twitter for today. It's like everyone is seeing how much of a gigantic twat they can be. I'm really wound up today by the half that think they are amazing and the half who are desperate for the other half to like them. I've never read so much bullshit in my entire life.
I knew you'd be the one.

I certainly have never had such terrible thoughts toward any 2 people in my life (I mean, I've wanted my ex to just disappear at times, but that's different.) . And more the girlfriend than him. She was just taking stabs like the bitch she clearly is, he was preaching to me. Blocked her. She doesn't know me and has no right to reply to me that way.

When I was working in retail I befriended this guy who also worked in the same toy department. He was really nice but not very bright. Fast-forward six years and he is now a model and likes to impart his modelling photos and 'YOLO' wisdom onto Facebook every day/hour:
i.e.
Don't go broke trying to look rich ...! Act your wage . Morning btw
I'm really glad he's doing well, but it is all a bit cringy.
Haha, awkward:
Sean Strutt: OK am doing this once people keep inbox-ing asking how do you get into the industry and what should they expect and to this i Answer
1) their is no direct way of getting into the industry just be original and have a blind determination
and this is the Most important One
2) Be prepared for the Most amount Of BULLSHIT you will ever come come Across
Tina Jones: What industry are you in?
Sean Strutt: are u serious? Lol
Rick Brice: Sean Strutt is infuriated looooooool
Sean Strutt: been modelling for 3 years now how did you not know?
Tina Jones: Oh i knew you had done shoots but not that you was an actual model now sozz, what agency you with?
No response from Sean yet.

dang, i was just about to google him.
There's this creepy 'friend' we have, from my high school class, who hangs out with us because she's friends with the other girls, she's a raw vegan, and today she posted some crap so-called study that says milk causes cancer. I've just read a book wrote by a medical doctor who teaches you how to spot crappy stories like this one, so I'm even more pissed. Unfriend. I didn't even hide her posts, unfriend. She's not my friend anyway, and I hate it when we go out and she comes along, as well. I'm ranting but lately I've been thinking a lot about these girls I hang out with, who used to be in my class, and aside from the fact that I don't call them unless it's their birthday and I hardly ever even wanna go out, and when I do, I get screwed over, like with the concert on Friday, I don't even care much. I really wish some of you would be my friends in real life, then I wouldn't have to settle for this silly friendship. I mean, on Valentine's Day one of the girls sent us a group e-mail saying she was thinking that we'd met 7 and a half years ago and how lucky we were to still be friends and all, and to think of special moments etc. Blah. I don't have any special moments with them, I used to tell them about boys all the time and then they got fed up (understandably), and then we got to college and I stopped calling but we still go out from time to time. Never where I want to, though, like the museum with a terrace, or to the opera. So yeah, fuck 'em.
Aww, I'd feel mean doing that! He does mean well, but he is utterly annoying and self-obsessed.
However, if he does become big I will of course reveal his identity (and bask in the satisfaction that he asked me out a few times... which I graciously declined).
hehe, right on !
Weird coincidence but at dinner with my school friends last night one of the girls brought up the whole milk and breast cancer correlation.
I think she'd read about it in this book: The China Study, which does advocate the vegan lifestyle. I'm sure there probably is a correlation but books like this can trigger already vulnerable people to go a little crazy and paranoid. This friend is a bit like that; she doesn't consume dairy or alcohol now and has been anorexic since high school.
Yeah, that's the study she mentioned. I'm referring to Bad Science, I'm sure you, since you're from the UK, might've heard about his column in The Guardian, this book is basically a summary of health scares, why nutrition as a science has to be taken with a grain of salt because no real medical studies are involved most of the times, and a lot of other medical and pseudomedical-related things. I'm not saying he's the highest authority, but come on, everyone would have cancer if milk was the cause.
Hey and nutritional science will have a whole bunch of statistics about adding a grain of salt to things yeah? hahah Go me! Salt is bad!
The "man of my dreams" guy just posted this thing that says, "A bee will literally break its penis off inside the queen to stop her mating with other bees." and he's written "Love."
And so I wrote:
"Out there is a BEEyonce and her song is like, "If you liked it then you shoulda snapped your penis off and left it in meee""
And I'm devastated because this was like an hour and a half ago and it has gotten only 3 likes. It deserved better than that. I hate everyone! HATE. I was honestly expecting him to respond like, "Oh my god Amy, that's the funniest thing ever, I love you." 3 Likes? Why don't they just spit in my face?
Facebook is all about drama. Comedy gold cannot survive.
haahhhaa
He will never understand what he is missing
His penis?
This is why we can't have nice things.
Amii, you are so funny!
Thank you!!
I even had a follow up, if people thought it was funny, I was going to say, "She's married to Jay-Bzzzzzz"
=(
"Oh my god Amy, that's the funniest thing ever, I love you."
I'd never spit in your face.
I knew you'd understand, Jess. I'm dismissing all these people as "too stupid" to be friends with.

My gosh Amy. You actually are the funniest and I do love you. I know how you feel.
A friend of mine earned a belt in karate and I said, "You kick ass." You see it's a double meaning. It means she's awesome and she beats people up. No one got it.

..., I'm tired of reading status updates about your dog peeing (FYI, now also pooping!) indoors!

Oh my god. What a moron, Imke!
It's not funny but one of my second cousins is seriously oversharing her life woes on Facebook at the moment. Every status is, "I hate this" or "I hate that!" and it's very annoying. All the family (except mine actually) are pandering to every status.
Last week she posted:
It has of course spurred 15 "concerned" responses.
