Dreams involving cult members
Dreamed that a cult member came over to my house, drunk, took off all of their clothes and refused to leave. It was awkward and uncomfortable.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Tuffy, I actually dreamt about you last night. You were sleeping in your car. I didn't take off my clothes.
His car? Funny.
"I'm glad I live in the GPS era. In a different century, I would've set off to visit the other side of the village and wandered off into the mountains and been eaten by a carnivorous plant. Or discovered the Americas."

Well, I don't know whether he has a car or not, but in the dream he did. It was yellow...maybe a Honda.
I don't think he even knows how to drive.

Tuffy, get in here and verify please.
I once owned a '73 Ford Ltd. I've had smaller apartments. I did sleep in it once. I could lie down in the back seat and not be touching either side of the car. That car was monkeyshit brown and had a working 8-track player. Sadly, I was never able to find any 8-tracks to play in it.
I will not reveal who I dreamed about last night. The dream was very very plausible however. Also, this cultie was a scary driver.
Later in the dream I went to work at Disneyland and was lost and overwhelmed.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I could have sworn you told me you didn't know how to drive. Maybe it was just that you don't have a license.

My dreams had no culties so they are pointless to tell in this thread.
But a lot of other people, one in particular smiling and trying to get my attention silently, wanting me to read a chapter in a book where he was the character of, and wanting me to know enough time had passed that there was no reason for strife, bitterness, worry or hard feelings any longer.
I have driven a car exactly twice for a total of about ten minutes. I understand that one pedal makes you go Vroom!, one makes you go Screetch!, and the round thingy in front makes you go in circles either clockwise or widdershins.
This is why we can't have nice things.
But he was also wearing a Victorian dress and a bonnet, which was interesting.
And one makes you lurch everywhere if you push it or don't push it at the wrong times.
Oh, I can't drive stick. Bwahahahaha.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Why did you never learn to drive?
Surely there has been someone to teach you in your adult life, if never in your youth? Or have you just not had reason to learn?
A stick isn't that hard to learn, my sister learned when she was 27.
It took her 27 years to learn. And you say it isn't difficult.
Never really wanted to learn to drive. Never really needed to.
Or perhaps I am just obstinate.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Shush. It took her a week to learn. It took 27 years for someone to take the time to help her learn.
I wish I lived somewhere where it was easier to get places without a car.
Never really wanted to learn to drive. Never really needed to.
Or perhaps I am just obstinate.
I loled at the first bit.
And you know damn well you are obstinate.

I don't know how to drive either and I don't want to. I drove about eight feet in a straight line once and hated it.
I usually lie when people ask me but i didn't start driving until i was 24. Then i had to teach myself how to drive stick when i was 26 because i loaded trucks for a living and had to park them afterwards and most of them were standards. My bosses never knew i didn't know how to drive stick, i went in barely knowing the basics and ground gears and popped clutches until i figured it out. However, in the words of Vincent Gallo in the hit indie film Buffalo 66: I drive luxury cars. Cars that shift themselves.
Why on earth would you lie about that?

Trying to shake this reputation of being a half-retarded, home-schooled late bloomer.
If that's what you are, that's what you are. Own it. Lying won't help anything.

Except the half-retarded part.

Lying only ruined a couple transmissions.
Ritt: We gotta get the hell out of here!
Tuffy: Everybody in that shit brown Ford.

Ritt: I can't drive.

Best movie ever. I'd watch that.
I paid for about 30 lessons and probably spent a couple of grand to learn to drive about two years ago. And I can only drive an auto. But it's great, I love being able to drive.
The first car I bought myself was a five speed, and I had to get it home off the lot, so I had to figure out how to drive it. Took a lot of lurching and over popping the clutch but I got it. I have an automatic now, but if I had to drive a stick I know I'd ease right back in to it.

Stress dreams for the past week. Everything from pet sloths to dead friends
I did have a dream that I got on The Cult and everyone was gone and it made me sad.
As your attorney, my advise to you is to start drinking heavily(er).-Tuffy
Having a pet sloth would be the shit. I want that dream.
This is how I imagine yours went.
I had a dream that Tuffy was a real estate agent trying to sell me house, but he was also giving me really good parenting advice. I feel like I've had this dream before.
i had a fairy tale the several evening which i ended up being actually in fact wearing a book shop cut diner. i wound up being in truth scouting guides away inside the event that I came around some tin tin quick story guides that I immediately gathered since a lot because buy for Levi. Subsequently that perhaps I did not desired the actual cultie but I injury upwards being considering regarding one as a result of my fairy tale.
So who are you?

He put on his book shop, wrapped his truth around him, came next to some Tin Tin, and remains in denial about desiring Levi. What's the confusion?
This almost went into the dream thread. But the Moon Tower was in it, so I clipped it and planted it in dreams.
btw- 'the dream thread' is a good name for a horror book.
3 nights ago, dreamed I lived in a family home. I could see directly into room in front of me. There was a small rocking chair. A creepy little girl that looked like she could have been in the ring was sitting in it. Then a young teen girl walked up to the chair and sat in the chair and merged with the girl. I felt better, not as scared.
Then Kirsten Dunst was there. She was my annoying sister. She kept insisting on things. I kept thinking, does Kirsten have to play the part of my sister? But I was glad she was there to break the tension. Her lunkhead bf was there. There was dispute about going to a Tower that had the Moon dangling from it. Many of the answers to our lives, were there at the Moon Tower.
Then the specter was back.
Her bf and I tried to convince her to go with us, to the Tower. But she argued and seemed to want a milkshake. Then someone pulled up in a shiny 1972 Dodge Charger that kept changing colors and Kirsten left in it.
The specter came back. And I was left to deal with her nice but dim boyfriend and the specter.
edit wrong thread.
I dreamt there was a cult meet-up and it was by the beach on a really cold day. We went bodyboarding (not a euphemism) and had a fancy dress party afterwards. I was really anxious that I had to nothing to wear but Imke was trying to help me create a costume from my wardrobe and I ended up going as a bumblebee. Melody was really into the dressing up part and bought loads of bbq food and alcohol to the beach.
This can happen in the near future if everyone meets up in Cali!
I love your dream, Hattie.
I like that dream, and I want to be at that meet up.

Yes, first week of April
So I had a dream about Sarah, Tuffy, Amber/Mena(you two were fused as one person), there may have been a couple other culties but since I took too long to write this dream down I've already forgotten some things. Anyway we were all in california. Sarah was pregnant and driving us around, my mom and grandparents were with us too, in this giant escalade type suv all over the los angeles' freeways. We ended up back at my house to watch some movie, all comfy on different couches, chairs, when Sarah gets queasy. I ask if she's ok as she gets up from the sofa, she says she's fine but needs a drink of water with a bit of detergent. She seems to help herself as I'm taking forever trying to find the detergent for her. I tell her I can't find it but she has already made herself the strange cocktail. Yeaaaahhh, more weird dreams after that but this is the first time I've dreamt culties in a while!
people have always confused Mena and me with each other. So I am not surprised we were fused.
I've always found it odd though, that people confuse us, because aside from both being very pacific northwesty in attitude and lifestyle, we are quite different in the way we express ourselves and the way we look.

You two are very different but I think you guys are kindred spirits or something. My mom always fuses me and her sister as one person in her dreams. Me and my aunt are each our own person but there's something about us, our aura that we share. We have a significant age difference and don't really look alike but for my mom we're the same person, especially in her dreams.

She's good. Still in California, still being crafty and cooking stuff. We're in touch, I just miss her presence here.
