We have a jewish girl at work, so we lit two of the Menorah candles last week. I said a blessing in hebrew too, I don't know if I said it right, but I just made that "chhh" like your going to spit sound lots.

I wish I had braces when I was little...though I would not have rocked them nearly as well as Gwynyth.
How long does she have to wear them?
Gwynyth actually has a cross bite. They put some stuff on the back of her teeth so she can't close her mouth fully and mess up the brackets. I have no idea how the braces will work their magic but they do. They're also going to close the gap between her two front teeth.
Minerva, she'll have to wear them for a year and then she'll have a retainer for a while. We had to get them done this early because a cross bite will mess up your jaw if you don't get it fixed early.

Braces straightened out my teeth, but didn't correct my bite, though it wasn't/isn't too bad. I've a bit of a cross bite and underbite. When i close my mouth, my front teeth on the top and bottom meet and the left side of my bite is slightly farther to the left on the bottom than on the top. It ain't so bad, but it annoys me sometimes.
