Awesome.

frequency flicker thingies. bigtime fun.
This is why we can't have nice things.
do you set them at your body's frequency or what though?
Jealous of the name. I wish I had a pet with an awesome name. But I'm getting a rat soon. Maybe I'll start a thread for suggestions.

We need 3-D imaging next time, toots.

Those freak me out. Won't be happening. I only got the ultrasound this time to make sure I wasn't having twins, hahaha.

Butbutbut... You can see babyface!
This is why we can't have nice things.
Yeah, and you can see babyface when baby is born, like when you're supposed to!
I like surprises, such as not knowing how my baby looks until it's born!

Ultrasounds trip me out. I had to go with my cousin to the ER once cuz she was having pains early in her pregnancy with twins ...I had no idea what I was looking at on the screen.
Minerva, those pictures are great!

MMM SKRIMPS
These are from my work xmas dinner. A bunch of us went out for a few drinks after at Alice (Alice in Wonderland themed bar), and Apartment (Apartment themed bar). All the photos are blurry, but so was the evening.

Did she hand make that card? What a sweetie. I wish I had time for things like that. Where is Z anyway?
This is my fish Pablo the Plecostomus. I just adopted him last night (my brother in law gave him to me). I let my son name him this morning since today is his birthday (my sons) He said "we should call him Pablo" I am pretty happy about him, in fact completely stoked. I haven't had a fish since 2004 when my fish sparkles died suddenly. I'm going to find out about getting a friend or two for him soon.
at least you won't have to clean the aquarium!

That might be the best part!
Finally got around to family pictures this year.
The thing you have to keep in mind is that our appointment was at 11:30 AM. This picture was taken at roughly 1:45 PM because the place was already 2 hours behind when we got there.
Adelaide takes her nap around 1:00. So in between these pictures, she was screaming and flailing about as if someone had just shoved a phosphorus grenade into her diaper.
I still cannot explain how she looks even remotely normal in them, let alone cute. (Although you can see we're sort of... holding her arms down in this first one.)
I love it. The photographer was awesome and totally got Adelaide to just beam with joy for the split second she needed each time the shutter opened.

Also, this made me feel good. (It's clicky)

Adorable! She looks angelic and not a sleepy tantrum throwing toddler.
My parents will never ever let me forget (or forgive me for) our terrible family photo where I'm doing a horrible sulky teenager face. So a few years ago I arranged for us to have a nice family photo done, but my little brother was the sulky teenager and refused to even go.
Adelaide looks so cute!
And she's got pretty hair.
That's a cute family.
You *do* always wear the hat, don't you?

Tony, Adelaide is so damn gorgeous. You've done well, mate.

That is a great photographer. I could rarely make the kids smile and have the bulky camera ready to take the photo at the same time, so it takes a lot of dedication. I always thought it would've been nice if the parents couldn't make the kid smile to have a backup photographer there to help out. Great family photos!

@Rosie: That's awesome. Someone has to be the sulky teen, it's like a given. Sounds like a nice gesture nonetheless.
@Imke: Yeah, that hair. Goodness gracious, you don't have to brush it.
Okay, I don't very often either, Julia does it, but still.... Plus, she must have inherited it from a distant relative. Some people ask me if I'm babysitting my niece when I'm out with her. Like she's too cute to be my kid. Jerks.
@Tuffy: Yeah, I do. It keeps me from having to fix MY hair.
@Matt: Thanks.
@Chenoa: Yeah, I couldn't believe it. We cancelled one the week before at a different place, that lady flat out scared Adelaide. This lady, by contrast, was just unbelievable. Hell, she doesn't smile like this for me or Julia... like ever. I almost feel bad now.

I disagree with all of this.

You disagree that I've had 5 of those in 2 weeks?!?

Des looks just like this girl I went to high school with who was craaaazy.
Des seems quite nice though. Just to clarify.
You know in all the years I've been here I've never been sigged?
Dammit, can't get the vid to work right. Oh well... you get the idea. I need documentation.

Julia's jealous we have about as many pics of us kissing as we do of me kissing this bottle.
What can I say? It takes a little booze to get me out of my shell.

And some philosophy in action shots. That Persian dude makes me look like a pussy, out there in the fog and cold, on the pier with nothing but short sleeves.
Oh well.

And bad coffee...

haha, that is definitely the bad coffee face.

Oh my lord I need to kiss that puppy.

So did you get the puppy after all!
The idea of a lab and a chihuahua getting it on is more than slightly worrying, but that puppy is adorable, so it wasn't for nothing.
My first dog was a Chihuahua German Shepard mix. Daddy was the Chihuahua, he stood up on the poorch, with the mama on the lawn, to get the job done.

Do those things do anything? Like do they have something to do with that NLP stuff or something? Or are they just for looks?
