I love what comes out when you lose yourself in an abstract. Coming out of the trance when you realise it is finished and then looking with fresh eyes at what you created, finding out where you are.
This is my favorite one I made ever, I had to name it Atlas when I stood back and saw it. The lighting is off.
Yeah, my mom always makes me take them off for family pictures. That's really what happened here. I couldn't see where the camera was and my two cousins were just mocking me.

That's exactly what I love about abstract as well. I know it doesn't appeal to many people visually but the process itself excites and possesses me. One of the best highs I've ever experienced is while I'm painting.
