December and Xmas Picture Thread.
I went to Lake Rotoiti for a retreat. It was really beautiful.
This is the house we slept in, it was originally a fishing lodge owned by the man who designed Wellington's Botanical gardens.
This deer head was in our living room! He was kind of scary at first.

Today's our National Day and in the morning we had the military parade. It's the celebration I like most and I always watch it on tv. So here are some pictures.

Last month on my nephews birthday out at my brother in laws place. The other two little boys are two of our nephews.
I did eat the fish! It got smoked and it was delicious.

Yes, it really is called that. It celebrates a unification back in 1918, so we can't call it Independence Day like you fancy people.

I have discovered that my left eye is slightly off center. I look googly-eyed. Oh well, as long as I can still see 20/20.
This was a very fun night. I really enjoyed being dressed up in nice clothes and a coat. I could get used to it.
