Cult Meetup: 2006
due to the fact that all the texas people we know here made the trip last time without knowing anybody, i'm thinking they'd be willing to leave their state again. i'd prefer to not stay in southern california, and if we do stay in cali i think middle cali, near maybe san luis obispo or something would be great, or up in northern cali would be cool.
seattle, boston, new york, new orleans (cheap hotels i bet!), washington dc, savannah georgia (i love that city) are all on my good list.
Anywhere in California, I'm down. I will not go to Texas. Karb, why the obsession with Texas? I would for sure be hung in Texas because I would get all pissed off and tell some dude that Bush is a fucking cocksucker and since they can carry guns in Texas I would get shot.
I'll only go to Texas if I get a flak jacket.
my only texas deal is because of all the other folks there an it would garunteee more themn just myself showing up
im worried that the only ones that aRE going to show up next time are maybe 1 or 2 from last time an a handful that didnt get to go just so they can say they went this time !
all i know is i hope i get laid UNLIKE last time ! fucking parkaboy that cockblocker !
I say we have it on this little island:

It's a real island, too, cause its entirely surrounded by water and has at least one tree. So there.

without the tree, there is no island. so sayeth the lord thy dog.
This is why we won the Revolutionary war. British soldiers moral was busted when they ran out of clotted cream and chives.
You're romanticizing pups. Moral was busted because americans think crackers are the same thing as crumpets.

I just don't like the place, or 90% of the stuff that has anything to do with it, and I'd never go there voluntarily again.

daley, ubix and that cute redheaded chick that ne'er comes round no more. also, the big juicy steaks. that's about all.
austin pretty much sucks. everyone thinks they're so goddamn cool when they're from austin.
Sacramento sucks, you might as well take the 2 extra hours and head to Tahoe. Bay Area/ Napa Valley will be col. SLO is cool. Big Sur? Santa Cruz? The list is endless.

pace yourselves...

not a bad idea. we could go through the entire book for ideas on things to do, as to keep the cult/chuck theme alive and strong.
