I wet my toothbrush and dab the bristles in the powder( pour a lil baking soda in your hand instead of contaminating the whole box with your filthy toothbrush germs) and just brush your teeth and rinse. My mom also told me that the white centers of strawberries has a whitening agent in it if you rub it on your teeth.
When I brush my teeth with baking soda I do it separately from brushing my teeth with tooth paste. I usually do it when I feel that even after brushing my teeth my mouth still feels gritty. But I think you can use it as regularly as you'd like.
