The jar itself dates no earlier than the early 1930s and the markings on it are a mixture of Masonic, modern Satanic, Voudon, and Santeria.

While it's a fun bit in the 'Blair Witch' mold, it's not terribly well done.

The best thing is all the parody auctions that have sprung up immediately: 'Ghost in a beer bottle', 'fart in a bottle', etc... Do a site search, it's hilarious.

I have a few jars like that in my house. There's a million antique stores in my town. I could buy them all, then sell them for an estimated 50,000 each. I could retire halfway through college.
