Book Spine Poetry

I've been a little obsessed with this novel concept for a few months now. Contemplated quite a bit reorganizing my entire book collection into a filing system that makes an epic book spine poem.
Give me a poem topic, and I'll make you a book spine poem, out of my own books.
Be nice. Be poetic. Be obscure.
Mean outlandish "Try to make one out of this, I dare you!" Poem topics will be ignored. maybe.
Post a word, or two, I'll make you a poem.
give me a beautiful challenge.
Tomorrow. I'll start the book spine poem pictures tomorrow.
[as an aside, feel free to make your own book spine poems and post the picture, too]
I don't have enough real books in English to make this fun.
I am looking at my books and have several directions for a poem already in mind, Irina.
everyone should post a word(s)/topic close to their personality/heart/amusement.
This will be fun.
Aw, I love this!
An unknown destination.
This might be the most original thread idea ever?
I like this.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Hey, this is awesome!
Oh shit, I have to go home now and reorganize all my books.
As your attorney, my advise to you is to start drinking heavily(er).-Tuffy

Yay. I'm glad you guys like this idea as much as me.
Pica, you need to move your book poem pictures in here! They belong here.
Tuff, I had no damn clue what to do with "I like this." shesh.
these are lovely, pepper!
how about.. A Perfect Day
A fresh start.
Thank You Imke! It is quite challenging, with the prompts. I keep seeing all these little poems that could be made, but the have nothing to do at all with the prompts (or random statements, some of you) have been giving.
Alecia and Jaz, I'll do yours tomorrow along with anyone else that comes along and posts.
Some of you should make some! It's a lot of fun, and actually a bit of a work out- I must have lugged over a hundred books off my shelves and into the other room and picked them up and put them down and then paced around with armfuls from room to room composing and had to put them all away when I was finished.
Unrequited love!
This is such a great idea.
A melancholy nature
And I've got to read that book, Southern Fried Rat & Other Gruesome Tales.
Thank you Alecia, I don't suppose I'm actually a genuis, however.
I feel The need to put a disclaimer, if it wasn't already realised: I didn't come up with this idea myself, it was something I saw on someones blog or somewhere some time ago. I wish I were creative enough to come up with it myself.
this thread makes me smile so much
I remember Mad Magazine did this with postage stamps in the 80's (meaning it was probably a rerun from the 70's) but these are still brilliant regardless of firsties.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Well, thanks, that's kind of you to say Tuff. This is my first attempt at anything poetic in a couple years, I had to quit writing for a while for sanity's sake.
I might look up that postage stamp stufff (yay internet) if I remember later.
I used to like writing letters using song lyrics, one line from each song only. It was very teen angsty of my, in hindsight, a good way to get stuff out, without saying anything.
The Problem of Pain
Shyness
Masochism
Out of the Silent Planet
Snow Falling on Cedars
Last Call at Elaine's
Coroner
I know this one isn't my poem but this is perfect for big S.
I love mine as well and I want to read all those books now.

A wonderful unicorn-y adventure.
