I hate to be an obnoxious jerk, but I believe that in art white is considered the absence of color while black is the inclusion of all colors at once.

see, i've always heard the exact opposite. That white included all the colors of the spectrum and black was the absence of color

Well, as far as I understand color (which is not much), the color that you see something as is the points on the color spectrum that it is reflecting. Therefore, white absorbs all color and doesn't reflect anything. Black reflects everything, mixing all of the colors........or maybe it's the other way around, because in all of the pictures, it shows white light being split into the colors..................i dunno

in terms of void, i'd have to say that it is neither black nor white. it is neither. nothing. But since color is a perception, it requires an eye and when an eye can't see, what does the brain percieve?

but if I really had to pick one, I'd totally go with black.

Kind of reminds me of David Lynch's Angriest Dog in the World comics. Except even less happens and there's no cute yet alternative cartoon dog to market to the college kids.
