American Idol 2009
So, I've embraced my Idol love. It's on this thursday night on ITV2 (for you other UK folk).
i sometimes watch for tryouts, but after that, it stops being fun, because i hate pop music as a whole.

i tried this morning, and it wouldnt let me. not unless it was really tiny. it has to wait, i reckon, until im on my linux computer again, as it seems much easier to convince images they are within 120k or whatever, without a lot of hoop jumping.
trust me, im generally a nice guy, also. this avatar was only meant to be used for like three days surrounding new years, two years ago, before i left the site last time. i repeat, as i said in chat, i dont like it, either.

--Group medleys with all the contestants bounding onto the stage, singing and smiling at each other. Heartwarming.
--Adverts for Ford starring the contestants in weird and wonderful and car-related situations.

I hope the guy that looks like Harold from the stoner flicks "Harold and Kumar" goes all the way! I was expecting him to be one of the tryouts that everyone laughs at, but he busted out with some Boyz II Men - it was badass. I am only watching the competition as far as he goes. If he is eliminated in Hollywood then I am done.

Also, I'm not sure how I feel about the new judge yet. She's nice, but she reacted to the bikini girl all wrong. 
I don't get why she felt such a need to prove herself.

So far my bot is the music teached dude who lost his wife. He layed it on pretty thick but he seemed cool and he had a killer voice.

The downside of American Idol is all the sad stories. Bleh. I mean, I really feel for the people and some of the stories are really sad, but it shouldn't be what the show is about.
